00:00San Francisco really had no right being in that football game.
00:04They upset, obviously, the Eagles the week previous in the wild card.
00:07But this was a destruction.
00:08And this was pretty much what people thought would happen in this game.
00:11And, boy, did they lay the wood on the 49ers.
00:1541-6.
00:17And they took the whooping board out, and they beat that thing up, man.
00:22Holy cow.
00:23The 49ers were outmanned.
00:25They were outcoached.
00:27And they were outphysicaled.
00:28Now, I don't know if that Seahawks team is going to be in the same position
00:35that that Legion of Boom was when they went to the Super Bowl years ago.
00:40But that defense is absolutely spectacular in what they did in this game.
00:46I mean, no question about it.
00:48Sam Darnold.
00:49I mean, listen, he was efficient in the football game.
00:53You look at the yards there.
00:55124 yards in the ball game.
00:57But, really, it came down to a physical running game, and it came down to their defense.
01:02Their defense was all over Brock Purdy.
01:05Brock Purdy in the ball game did not look anything near like he looked when he was in that game
01:10against the Philadelphia Eagles the week previous.
01:13I mean, look, they were all over them.
01:16Their front seven was absolutely awesome in this football game.
01:20Their secondary was great.
01:21There wasn't really a lot of weapons for them to be able to go and move the sticks with.
01:27Look at Christian McCaffrey in the ball game, too, and the job that they did.
01:31You know, the one thing that you notice when you watch the Seattle Seahawks defense is team speed.
01:36They get after the ball, and they set the edges.
01:39That's a football team that understands defense and also understands schematics and defense.
01:45There's no question about it, too.
01:47And I love the way that Clint Kubiak called that game.
01:50Hey, look, if San Francisco, who struggled mightily this year going into this football game, had issues stopping the run,
01:57it played itself out in that football game.
02:00Look how they ran the ball.
02:01Love the kid, Walker.
02:02Absolutely great.
02:03Saw him at Michigan State a couple years ago, and he played against Mike Keynes, and he put the wood on him.
02:08Three TDs also catching the football out of the backfield.
02:11It was a well-constructed offensive approach by Clint Kubiak, who's probably going to get a head coaching job.
02:17It could be your Ravens next head football coach if you go down that lane there.
02:21So, again, I really like Seattle.
02:24I personally am now starting to believe that Seattle is the best football team in the National Football League.
02:31There is no doubt about it.
02:33They are now inching closer here, and they will obviously wait the winner of today's Rams and Chicago game.
02:41That's going to be really a weather game.
02:43We'll see how that plays out.
02:44We'll talk more about that a little bit later on.
02:46But Seattle has built this.
02:49I want to take you to John Schneider, their general manager, who I have great respect for.
02:53You come out of the Pete Carroll era, and now you're going into a new era, completely different faces that you have in that organization now.
03:06Look how they've constructed.
03:07Look how they have built that football team.
03:10They still keep the premise, and they still stay within the framework of what they believe is winning football.
03:16You know what that is?
03:18Running the ball and playing lights out defense.
03:22You better bring your big boy pants if you're going to play Seattle.
