02:32On Greenland, Mr. President, why is it so important to you to own it when you have a military
02:36presence there, which you could expand to affect security?
02:39Because when we own it, we defend it.
02:42You don't defend leases the same way.
02:44You have to own it.
02:45And, you know, with a nation, look at what happened with Obama with that horrible deal
02:51they made with Iran.
02:52It was a short-term deal.
02:53It was like a nine-year deal.
02:55Countries can't make nine-year deals or even hundred-year deals.
02:58Countries have to have ownership.
03:00And you defend ownership, you don't defend leases.
03:03And we'll have to defend Greenland.
03:05If we don't do it, China or Russia will.
03:08It's not going to happen.
03:09We are not going to have — and I like China.
03:12I like Russia.
03:13I love the people of China.
03:14I love the people of Russia.
03:16I get along very well with President Putin, but I'm very disappointed in him.
03:21I get along very well with President Xi.
03:23I'm going to go over to China in April.
03:25But I don't want them as a neighbor in Greenland.
03:27Not going to happen.
03:28And by the way, and NATO's got to understand that.
03:32I'm all for NATO.
03:33I saved NATO.
03:34If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have a NATO right now.
03:37But we're not going to allow Russia or China to occupy Greenland.
03:41And that's what's going to happen if we don't.
