00:55in Havana, Cuba. We begin with the news. In Argentina social trade unions and
01:00political organizations commemorate 20 years of saying no to the free trade
01:04area of the Americas. The organizations remember the historic date when the
01:08peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean stopped the FTAA project which sought
01:13regional domination and control. During the commemoration and with this slogan for
01:18the sovereignty of the peoples against the right and neoliberalism attendees
01:22emphasized that the U.S. plan was not about free trade but about free exportation. For
01:28his part Cuban President Miguel Díaz Canel celebrated the occasion and urged the
01:32region to continue the struggle against the U.S. empire.
01:35For his part the governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, highlighted the role of the people of Latin America in the historic note
01:51to the free trade area of the Americas project, promoted by the United States Empire.
01:57But the people's summit would not have taken place here. The no to the FDAA would not have happened if it were not for the representation and as a result of the struggles that had been going on in Latin America for a very long time.

02:47The documentary shows how Chávez's strategy and his union with social movements, leaders, and activists in America helped bury the FDAA with the emergence of the ALBA and maintain the resistance of the peoples.

14:08Venezuela and China negotiated a trade agreement that includes tariff exemptions for 400 products.
14:14In an interview under the Venezuelan television channel from Expo Shangei 2025, the Minister of Foreign Trade,
14:21Coramoto Godoy, explained that the measure seeks to strengthen trade ties between Venezuela and China.
14:27They presented a very important proposed agreement that covers around 400 tariff codes that would enjoy zero tariffs,
14:34and China would request in return another number of similar exempted tariffs.
14:39Godoy explained that negotiations began in March after the visit of the Venezuelan Vice-President,
14:45Del Cirolias, to Beijing.
14:47At the same time, she noted that they hoped to implement this agreement by the first quarter of 2026.

17:14the need to repair and renovate the schools, we have been forced to enroll them in educational
17:19initiatives in the area, where we flew after the destruction of our homes.
17:24These initiatives have limited places, today I came to enroll them, but I couldn't because
17:30they were full and the space was too small, to accommodate more students.
17:34For three years, we have suffered because our children have been deprived of education, but
17:39we are trying to compensate them for what they have lost.
17:42Most schools in the Gaza Strip were destroyed during the occupation.
17:50This particular school is located in eastern Gaza.
17:54Neighbors in the area suggested we use it, so we began preparing the space with the local
17:58community who cleaned and equipped the school to start classes.

18:04We are working with the resources available and hope to be able to accommodate more students.
