00:00The fastest horse of the week brought to you as always by the fast sires at Winstar Farm.
00:05It's always fun to talk about the sires at Winstar Farm because there are so many fast sires there.
00:11And yes, we repeat stallions occasionally, and it's okay to do that because they're just so fast.
00:17But it's cool that we have a new stallion to talk about at Winstar, and that would be Patch Adams.
00:22He was being pointed to run against a great field in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.
00:27All those plans fell through, and now he has been retired to stud for next year at Winstar.
00:33He was quite the racehorse, one of the nation's premier three-year-old sprinters this season.
00:38Back-to-back grade ones in the Woody Stevens and the Alan Jerkins.
00:41He was undefeated, going seven furlongs.
00:44Patch Adams, quite the horse on the racetrack.
00:46Now he'll be at Winstar.
00:48His fee is yet to be determined.
00:51Fastest horse of the week.
00:52Not as much to choose from this week, simply because almost all the fast horses in America, the fastest horses, are getting ready for the Breeders' Cup.
01:01We had one outstanding performance on Thursday at the Belmont at Aqueduct meeting in an allowance race.
01:09You remember a horse named El Grande O, owned by Barry Swartz, trained by Linda Rice.
01:14He was a New York bred who ran pretty well as a three-year-old in some of the prep races, one-turn prep races, getting ready for the Kentucky Derby.
01:22Of course, he didn't run in the Derby.
01:23Recently, he's had some traffic problems.
01:26He was declared a non-starter in his most recent race because of issues at the gate, whatever.
01:32He bounced back in a big way Thursday at Aqueduct, narrowly winning an allowance race at six furlongs, but running 109.29 for six furlongs.
01:41Buyer's speed figure of 99 makes El Grande O our fastest horse of the week.
