00:00Rory McIlroy will not be playing in the FedEx St. Jude,

00:03the first playoff event this week down in Memphis.

00:06And I can't really blame him.

00:08I think every time we talked about this, we completely understand why.

00:10I mean, last year, I believe he finished DFL or second to last.

00:15I mean, he only slid one spot down in the FedEx Cup standing.

00:19So it really will have – he will be at the Tour Championship.

00:23He can skip – the BMW will still play the Tour Championship,

00:26although that might impact his standing a little bit more.

00:28But, yeah, it won't matter.

00:30Yeah, it won't matter.

00:32So, I mean, I'm actually with the reformatting of the playoffs,

00:36and I know that they're staging the payouts more.

00:39They're rewarding the Comcast business deal more heavily.

00:42And so you can miss out on big paydays and not playing at those places.

00:45But I'm kind of surprised more players didn't choose this option.

00:49They're way up in the standings.

00:50Shoot the BMW just to tune up for him,

00:52just getting ready for the Tour Championship.

00:54That's all it is.

00:55Yeah.

00:56Which, if we're going to make the Tour Championship all for one,

01:00I mean, it's going to be fun to see these guys really ramp up with no starting strokes.

01:06And, you know, it's going to feel like, hey, here's your one shot.

01:10I do like that.

01:12All the players have to go in with the same mindset of it doesn't matter what you've done all year.

01:17You've got to go out and bring it these four days.

01:19So it has that kind of major feel that we chase throughout the whole year.

01:24You know, when I think about why is it so hard to win major championships?

01:28It's because they only happen four times a year.

01:31And you have to peak at the right time.

01:33And you've got to remember how much money they're playing for, Charlie.

01:36And that Tour Championships will be remembered for how many you win.

01:40That is something that all these players respect and want to do.

01:46And I don't know.

01:48I just feel that that's something that all these guys strive to do at the beginning of every year.
