00:00According to police, around 8.35 a.m. on Saturday, 78-year-old Thomas Orr of Upper Wharton Street,
00:09Laventill, was driving motor vehicle PDT 7681 with his wife Marjorie Harry Orr in the front
00:17passenger seat. They were heading south along Richmond Orchard Drive when they reached the
00:24intersection with Wynwood Road. There, both Orr's vehicle and another car, driven by 30-year-old
00:32male, attempted to proceed simultaneously after pausing to allow each other the right-of-way.
00:40The two vehicles collided and the impact forced Thomas Orr's vehicle over an embankment,
00:47plunging approximately 30 feet into the Richmond River. Passers-by rushed to the scene,
00:53pulling both occupants from the submerged vehicle. CPR was performed on Marjorie Orr by both
01:00civilians and responding fire officers, but she remained unresponsive. The couple was taken
01:07to the Roxbury Hospital, where Marjorie Orr was pronounced dead. Thomas Orr received medical
