00:11The dead woman has been identified as 18-year-old Kaylee Poonan.
00:16Police say around 6.30pm, Poonan was the front seat passenger in a car driven by her 19-year-old
00:22boyfriend, Navin Badesi.
00:25The car was reportedly headed north when it ran off the road and slammed into a utility
00:29pool.
00:30Authorities responded and fire officers worked to get Poonan out of the car, but she was
00:34pronounced dead at the scene.
00:37Police say Badesi was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital.
00:40His condition is unknown.
