00:00July 6th. The Precious Blood That Strengthens Us in Trial
00:05There are times when suffering comes, not because of sin, but because of love.
00:12The Christian life is not the avoidance of pain, but the transformation of it.
00:18The blood of Jesus gives meaning to suffering. Through his wounds, our own trials can become
00:24offerings of love. When united to his passion, our tears are not wasted.
00:30They are gathered.
00:32This precious blood strengthens the soul to endure trials with supernatural grace.
00:39It teaches us that pain is not punishment when it is endured in love.
00:43Whether it's physical illness, loneliness, persecution, or interior darkness,
00:50Christ does not ask us to carry our crosses alone.
00:54He invites us to carry them with him, and he strengthens us with his blood.
00:58St. Ignatius of Antioch understood this deeply. As he was led to martyrdom, he wrote letters filled
01:06with joy, not because of the pain ahead, but because he knew he would be united with Christ's
01:11suffering. He called himself God's Wheat, ready to be ground so that he could become one with the
01:18Eucharistic sacrifice. That is the mystery of the precious blood. It not only saves us,
01:25it gives us strength to suffer well. When we call upon the blood of Jesus in the midst of our trials,
01:32we are not asking to escape, but to endure with grace. The blood becomes our shield against despair
01:38and our source of inner peace. It gives meaning to the moments we least understand, and it gives strength
01:46not just to survive, but to offer our suffering as prayer. For souls. For the church. For love.
01:55Even if the world doesn't see the beauty of this offering heaven does, a soul who suffers in silence,
02:01united to the blood of Jesus, becomes a flame of reparation, an echo of the cross,
02:07and a vessel of grace for others. The world is saved not only through great deeds, but also through
02:14hidden sacrifices offered in union with the Lamb. Let us pray. Jesus, in my pain, I turn to your
02:23precious blood. Let it strengthen me, purify my offering, and unite me to your passion.
02:31Through the witness of St. Ignatius, may I find courage in my crosses. I offer you my suffering,
02:40not in bitterness, but in love. Transform it with your blood into something beautiful,
02:46something redemptive, something holy. I trust you, even when I don't understand.
