00:00The flooding has been a concern in the northeast as we kind of transition in that general direction.
00:05So finally, finally, we're saying goodbye to the rain in Rochester.
00:09It has been a drenching day there.
00:12This afternoon has brought some significant flash flooding to that area.
00:15North Jersey, heavy thunderstorms and a wall of strong and now severe thunderstorms moving through central Pennsylvania coming in from Clearfield County.
00:23And here are the warnings.
00:24You can see new severe thunderstorm warnings in effect.
00:26Some parts of Southern Elk, Cameron and it's really Southern Cameron and Clearfield counties now.
00:31Up into areas around Potter and Tioga counties here, we have a severe thunderstorm warning in effect.
00:36And we've been tracking some trouble into Ohio.
00:38Also, Beaver and Lawrence counties of PA under a new severe thunderstorm warning.
00:42Geauga, Cuyahoga, Portage and Summit counties.
00:45The part of Cuyahoga is well southeast of the city of Cleveland there.
00:50But still some trouble in many of these areas.
00:53So as we do a little bit of a brief radar tour, here you can see that Clearfield County severe thunderstorm warning.
00:58Southern parts of Cameron County also under there.
01:02And also storms rumbling through some of these other areas here around Potter and Tioga counties.
01:07That new warning just issued.
01:09To the south, here we have Montgomery County, Maryland.
01:12It wasn't really impressive looking when it moved through.
01:15But because of the repetitive nature of thunderstorms, some of the thunderstorms in the past four or five hours set the table for some flash flooding there.
01:24And there's some video evidence from just across the city limits into D.C.
01:28Temperatures right now, still 90 in Virginia Beach, but only 66 up into Portland.
01:33Tomorrow's going to be a very stormy day for many of us in the northeast.
01:35And we're going to be dealing with above average warmth, nine degrees above the historical average in New York, five above the historical average in D.C.
01:42But a little cooler than the norm, six degrees below average in Detroit and three below in Pittsburgh behind the front.
01:48And a nice break in Charleston, West Virginia, seven below average there.
01:51On the opposing side to the front, a big contrast.
01:54But on the east side, the heat and humidity will fuel some strong and severe thunderstorms.
