Tasmanians react to the likelihood of an incoming election

As the day played out in parliament, there was an air of exasperation among Tasmanians as they contemplated the likelihood of another state election.

00:00I'm over it. Yeah. I think they should be getting on with the job.

00:07I'm a bit sick of the elections. I don't know why they just don't put another one in his place.

00:12I think what's happened is sort of over the top and totally inappropriate for where we're at.

00:17I think Jeremy Rockliffe's a great guy and he's doing a really great job.

00:20And it's just Labor just causing problems.

00:24I actually don't know whether the Labor Party that we've got at the moment would be much better.

00:29It's going to upset our economy and all sorts of things.

00:32There's many things that I'm having trouble with. The debt of the stadium, obviously.

00:36The debt of the spirits is a big stuff up.

00:40It is a bit remiss of the government to run us down this road.

00:45When we're in such a state, you know, we have health shifts and everything else.

00:49We really can't afford a new stadium at this stage, surely.

00:53I can't see the Liberal Party staying in the way they're going.

00:56Look at all the homeless people that are starting to kick up around the town now.

00:59The money can go into more affordable housing, stuff like that.

01:02Things that people actually need.

01:04I just want the stadium to go ahead under any Premiership.

01:07I think our current Premier has done an amazing job sticking to his guns with the stadium.

01:15And I'm hoping that if Dean Winter gets his way, that the stadium will go ahead.

01:20Both of them are saying that they're going to support the stadium unless we get 5,000 independents stand.

01:26Not an awful lot's going to change.

01:28I think people need to have an IQ kiss or common sense before they enter politics.

01:34And to remind themselves they're service of the public, not the other way around.

01:41But if you're dancing, if you're pursuing us who was down.

01:56But if you're touching on the Villa all right, that's the way to do.
