Inside the Sindbad submarine: Footage reveals interior after deadly sinking

Video footage has revealed the interior of the Sindbad submarine, which sank off the coast of Hurghada, Egypt, killing six passengers.

The footage shows the 30-metre-long vessel’s compact seating arrangement, large viewing windows, and the crew’s safety procedures.

Passengers previously described the experience as scenic, with views of coral reefs and marine life at a depth of 25 metres.

Survivors who had taken earlier trips on the sub expressed shock at the disaster, saying it had appeared well-maintained.

The cause of the sinking remains under investigation.
