00:00Okay, starting off with NWSL, we have seen a lot of movement in the tables.
00:04I want to talk about Gotham, who's currently in first place right now.
00:07You know, ACFC, of course, San Diego, Washington.
00:11We have, you know, a lot of some new contenders coming up too.
00:15Finally, let's start off with the best and my favorite.
00:18ACFC is officially comfortably in playoff contention.
00:22This weekend, they were able to tie against Gotham.
00:24They have, you know, they've gone seven games undefeated.
00:27This is just a whole new ACFC.
00:29We were talking earlier in the season if they were going to be able to turn things around,
00:32and they absolutely did.
00:34This is what's happening right now.
00:36Gotham at the top, San Diego Wave, Washington Spirit, Utah Royals, Kansas City,
00:41and then on sixth place, Angel City Football Club, Portland, and North Carolina
00:46completing the top eight teams that will make it coming to the next playoffs in NWSL.
00:52We're getting closer and closer to the moment of truth.
00:55Do you foresee Seattle, Denver, Orlando, or Houston doing a late push
01:00and maybe stealing one of those two spots, maybe seven and eight?
01:05Absolutely, right?
01:06I think the team that I would be the most excited for to see if they can get into that
01:10playoff contention
01:12would be Denver Summit.
01:13They're a brand new team.
01:14If you didn't already know, NWSL had two new teams coming in, Boston Legacy and Denver Summit,
01:20and Denver has really just been setting the example of how a brand new team can compete
01:25in the NWSL and maybe even make a push for the playoffs.
01:29Jamila, I love to see these different teams.
01:32Obviously, Gotham is a new team and immediately got themselves as one of the best teams in the league.
01:37Washington Spirit and San Diego Wave are kind of new classics of the league.
01:42But Kansas City Current is still fighting, and then you'll see it still fighting to be part of the big
01:49four, right?
01:49Because although they are the most valuable franchise in the tournament,
01:53they are yet to do their debut in NWSL.
01:56Camila, let's talk about standout players this season in NWSL.
02:01Yeah, obviously.
02:02When you talk about, for example, Washington Spirit, immediately Trinity Rodman.
02:06She has been a game-changer for them, scoring 11 goals as of late September.
02:11This is, you know, she's a standout player.
02:14She was injured a lot of last season with just kind of starting to come back,
02:17and now we see her in full swing, and she has just been amazing for the squad.
02:22This is the top performers of the league right now.
02:25Let's see it.
02:26Javin Sonis with Denver Summit, the top-rated player of the season.
02:29Okay.
02:29Croy Betune and Ashley Sanchez are the top three on the overall, you know, performance.
02:35Then we have Ashley Sanchez, Alatina, at the top of the standings as a goal scorer with 20 goals.
02:41Bárbara Banda, that you and I, we've been singing her praises for a long time.
02:45And Sofia Wilson, that has been playing at the highest level.
02:48And then, las que reparten el juego.
02:50Las jefas del medio campo.
02:52Chloe Lacaz, Croy Betune, again, one of the best players in the season.
02:56And Piedra Tordin, Camille.
02:58Look at this, 10 assists and 20 goals.
03:01The numbers that are producing at the top level of the league.
03:04Everybody really just doing really well.
03:07I want to talk about Sofia Wilson, actually.
03:09She is obviously one of the icons for the U.S. Women's National Team.
03:13Coming off of maternity leave, this is her first season back after maternity leave,
03:18and we can just see that she absolutely hit the ground running.
03:21And it's just really impressive to see, and I think inspiring for a lot of other women out there.
03:26And she has just been amazing for Portland Thorns.
03:28Hopefully, you know, can continue this momentum.
03:31And we got to see them this weekend.
