00:07Yeah, I voted for Vivek Ramaswamy and John Huston, Senator, big shock.
00:15Mr. President, you have talked a lot about your Christian faith in recent days and weeks.
00:22How does that mesh with the Pentagon's announcement that they wish to live stream the firing squad execution of the
00:30Fort Hood shooter?
00:31Well, first of all, I've seen his announcements. I don't know if that's actually going to happen.
00:34Let's sort of see what I think is going to happen in December when he's executed.
00:39But what I try to remind people is, look, this is a guy who committed, in my view, the worst
00:44terrorist attack on American soil outside of 9-11.
00:46The people that he was meant to treat, the Army soldiers that he was meant to treat for mental illness
00:52and other problems,
00:53he took them at their most vulnerable and gunned down these people where they lived.
00:58So whatever the controversy is about the method of the execution,
01:01I hope that people don't forget that this is a guy who brutally murdered a lot of innocent people.
01:06Now, that said, I mean, look, if it's ultimately live streamed, I'm not going to be watching it.
01:11Mr. Vice President.
01:15Yeah.
01:15A local, a prominent donor, Eric Dieters, has accused the administration of, like, a quid pro quo,
01:21saying that Kimberly Guilfoyle asked him to pay off a $100,000 credit card debt for access to Trump administration
01:30officials.
01:31Do you have a reaction to that, and is that how the administration works?
01:35Well, certainly not, man.
01:36Look, these are allegations.
01:37And what I always say is, we don't try people in the court of public opinion.
01:41We try people in a court of law.
01:42I've seen that Eric Dieters has accused Kimberly Guilfoyle, who I know and have known for a long time.
01:48Look, these are accusations.
01:50You don't take messages that people allegedly had between one person or another or one person's story and say,
01:57oh, because of that, Kimberly Guilfoyle is guilty.
02:00I think that's absurd.
02:01Let's actually see what the facts are.
02:03Let's see what the truth is.
02:04And obviously, if there was something bad that happened, then people have to suffer consequences for it.
02:08Mr. Vice President, a question about affordability here.
