00:00I mean, again, even if we had the pipeline, look what's happening because of the Iran war.
00:05She voted against it nine times before she voted for it five times.
00:08When she had a chance to stop it before we got into this crisis, she could have stopped it.
00:13I mean, she's the chair of appropriations.
00:15I mean, money has to come through there for these wars.
00:18She still could do something.
00:19She could use her leverage to stop this war, but instead they're making money.
00:23I mean, Senator Collins and her husband are making money more off of this war.
00:27How getting oil from Canada makes us energy independent, that's ridiculous.
00:32I mean, again, even if we had the pipeline, look what's happening because of the Iran war.
00:37She voted against it nine times before she voted for it five times.
00:40When she had a chance to stop it before we got into this crisis, she could have stopped it.
00:45I mean, she's the chair of appropriations.
00:47I mean, money has to come through there for these wars.
00:50She still could do something.
00:51She could use her leverage to stop this war, but instead they're making money.
00:55I mean, Senator Collins and her husband are making money more off of this war, and so
01:00is a whole bunch of other people.
01:01And that's why this doesn't stop, because they got us in another forever war that we're
01:07never going to get out of, and people in this state are feeling the effects of it.
01:10That is a big claim.
01:11So, Senator Collins...
01:12That is absolutely outrageous, and you owe me an apology.
01:18That is absolutely outrageous.
01:22To say that my husband and I are making money off the war in Iran is absolutely outrageous.
01:34And plus, I would point out that Troy is confusing energy supply and where it comes from with the energy
01:45independence.
01:46We do need to be energy independence, but that's not going to happen overnight.
01:53We need permitting reform.
01:56I have long wanted a pipeline for natural gas to come bring us shale oil and shale gas from
02:05Pennsylvania to Maine, but we need permitting reform to have that happen.
02:11And it is...
02:13We need to do things like I recently helped to secure the project in Lincoln at the Old
02:23Mill that will help make our electric grid more reliable.
02:28It's under Troy's leadership that electric rates in Maine became the fourth highest in the
02:37nation.
02:38The nation.
02:40What does that have to do with the Iran war?
02:43That is fine, but that does bring us to our next question.
02:45If we did have the Keystone Pipeline right now, what do you think the Canadians would be
02:48doing to us because of the tariffs and the fight that she has not stopped because Donald
02:52Trump took on?
02:53I'm sure they'd be shutting off oil and that, too.
02:55We'll talk about tariffs in a moment, but that does bring us to our next question on
02:59affordability.
03:00And a specific vote question for each of you.
03:02Mr. Jackson, back in 2019, you co-sponsored and voted for LDS.
