00:17One of the traits that you look for and if you're if you're a major breeder you're
00:22looking for versatility and durability and and certainly Kathy and Marissa has
00:27that. Her versatility has been demonstrated by her winning at four
00:31different distances throughout her career. Her durability has been
00:35demonstrated by being you know a top top performer at three, four and again this
00:39year at five. Has all the characteristics that are going to be necessary to become
00:43a successful broodmare. I think when breeders come to see her they're gonna
00:49see perfection. They're gonna see a really nice sized horse and I'm gonna quote my
00:56trainer Chad Brown who's won the Breeders' Cup turf four times. He's been asked
01:01which Breeders' Cup winner Kathy and Marissa reminds him of and he his answer
01:07is none. She's in a league of her own. When you look at the pedigree for Kathy and
01:12Marissa all you see is G1s. She's a G1 winner herself. She's out of a grade one
01:17winner. Her sister, her half-sister is a grade one winner. Her second dam is a
01:22grade one performer. So you see G1, G1, G1, G1 everywhere. I'm looking forward to
01:27offering Kathy and Marissa because she's she's one of racing's brightest stars
01:32currently. You know she's just a ultra consistent talent. You know she's she's
01:37hit the board in 12 of 13 of her lifetime turf starts and earned over 2.2
01:43million dollars. I absolutely love watching Kathy and Marissa run. She's got an
01:47explosive turn of foot. She accelerates coming down the lane and closes like a
01:53like a freight train. Literally it was a Breeders' Cup type quality field when she
01:56when she won the grade one Diana earlier this year at Saratoga and put on a
02:01brilliant performance. As you know I'm involved in the Adelphi Hotel and the two
02:17bankers who I work with very closely from Bank of America were named Kathy
02:23Block and Marissa Magnensen and I kitted them and said when we get the loan done on
02:30the Adelphi so I can build it I will name a horse after you. Hence Kathy and
02:37Marissa was born. I've been in the game long enough and been fortunate enough to
02:42win over 30 grade ones probably 35 grade ones in New York but the Diana was always
02:51a race that I really never thought I would be blessed and fortunate enough to have a
02:58horse that could win the Diana so that probably to me is a once-in-a-lifetime
03:05experience. I'll keep trying but I'm not sure there will ever be another Kathy and
03:09Marissa for me. I'm sure is the best turf mare that I've ever been fortunate enough to
03:15campaign and so the Breeders' Cup is going to be really special. Kathy and Marissa is a
03:20dream mare for any any high-level organization. When you look at her
03:25physically you can just imagine that you're going to get a beautifully
03:28balanced pole with athleticism that will appeal to the commercial market you
03:33know race race record at the highest level combined with looks at the highest
03:37level this is something that any commercial operation would would would love
03:42to have
