00:00I don't want to hear it about the Yankees.
00:02The Yankees have been pathetic through two games.
00:04And you know what?
00:05I get angry about this because, listen, it's the Niners and the Yankees at the top for me.
00:10Those are my hate watches.
00:11My favorite hate watches up there with Philly and all the things that they have going on.
00:16The Yankees had three errors in the first inning and in game two.
00:20They finished with five errors, okay, in game two.
00:23They're down 0-2 going back to New York.
00:26And I know, I know what's going to happen, John.
00:29The delusional Yankee fans are going to be like, well, it's okay.
00:32Like, we got lined up well.
00:34Like, we're going to go back home.
00:35We'll figure stuff out.
00:37Aaron Judge is not on the roster, I might add.
00:39So if there was a chance for them, I'd bank it on Aaron Judge.
00:42But here's the thing.
00:42Aaron Judge sucks in the postseason.
00:44So I wouldn't even bank it on him either.
00:46So this team defensively has been terrible.
00:50Offensively has been terrible.
00:51The Rays got to their top two starters.
00:53I guess Max Free is the other top starter.
00:55But Garrett Cole was awesome.
00:57Didn't matter.
00:57The Rays still won.
00:59Cam Schlittler, a guy that's going to win AL Cy Young.
01:02They got three runs off of him because the Yankees did not know how to use a glove and
01:06a hand to throw the baseball.
01:08So I don't want to hear this.
01:09And everyone's like, well, the Yankees, they have an easy path to the World Series.
01:12I hate to tell everyone this, but the Rays were the number one seed in the American League.
01:19Also, there are no easy paths.
01:22They thought so.
01:23They thought so, John.
01:25Who thought after four games the White Sox would be undefeated?
01:28No one did.
01:29There is no easy path in baseball.
01:32That argument is complete nonsense.
01:34Even for a loaded team like the Dodgers last year, look how much trouble they had with Toronto.
01:40It's never an easy path.
01:42There will always be bumps in the road.
01:44Sometimes there will be roadblocks.
01:46Sometimes for some people, there are sinkholes like the Cubs.
01:50It happens, man.
01:52But if you find a way around all that, that's what creates a champion in baseball.
01:56Being able to deal with whatever's thrown at you in a wacky sport where you can go, you know, scoreless
02:03for three games.
02:05But in the ninth inning, you can then become the hottest team and make a run to the World Series
02:09because the sport is weird like that, man.
02:11And so saying somebody has an easy path is never a smart thing to say in baseball.
02:16And the Yankees with their injuries, I don't know anybody who thought they would win.
02:23No.
02:24Trust me.
02:24There are plenty of people who thought they would win.
02:26All these Yankees.
02:27I'm sure they're out there.
02:28Yankee fans and Philly fans are exactly the same.
02:31You know, they believe whatever's in their mind.
02:34There's some delusion going on there where they think any little chance, okay, we're going to go all the way.
02:39Oh, it's only the it's only the Rays.
02:42They play small ball.
02:43We could beat them easily.
02:45Rasmussen almost threw a no hitter against you guys.
02:48And Austin Wells tried to go for a triple and got thrown out by 30 feet.
02:53Great job.
02:54Awesome job.
02:55You know, the Yankees are one of the most idiotic baseball teams I've seen going back to the 2024 World
03:01Series where in that game five, they had it won.
03:04They could have went to a game six and push the Dodgers to a game six and had all the
03:08momentum.
03:08But they could not catch the baseball in game five.
03:12That game was over when Andrews dropped that ball.
03:15Yes.
03:16And Garrett Cole was pointing at Rizzo to go to and Volpe was throwing the ball in the dirt.
03:19And they're doing the same thing.
03:22The Yankees got upset when Chris Taylor and the Dodgers were saying, well, all you got to do is make
03:27them field the ball.
03:28Well, hey, the Rays are making you field the ball and you still can't do it.
03:32They replaced Volpe with George Lombard Jr.
03:35And he looks worse.
03:36Ryan McMahon looks terrible at third base.
03:39Good defender.
03:40Good defender.
03:42Terrible.
03:43And you know what?
03:43I'm so glad.
03:44I'm so glad they're down 0-2.
03:47So, you know, some teams need humbling.
03:48That's why if the Dodgers lose, I'm a Dodgers fan.
03:50If the Dodgers lose, it'll humble them a little bit.
03:53You know, some teams need a little bit of that.
03:56I just think that at this point, if you're the Yankees or if you're a Yankee fan, you need to
04:01take honest inventory of what you've built from a roster standpoint.
04:05Because you pay Judge a lot of money.
04:07Yes.
04:08You pay Stanton a lot of money.
04:09And Bellinger.
04:10A lot.
04:10And Cody Bellinger.
04:12And it's time to play.
04:13It's time for them to earn that money.
04:14And two of them ain't nowhere around to be seen.
04:16And the other one might as well be gone, too.
04:19Bellinger fly out to center with the bases loaded.
04:22Sorry.
04:24Nope.
04:25So, you know, oh, oh, the rate.
04:27They don't fill up the.
04:28They don't fill up Tropicana field.
04:30It's going to be mostly Yankee fans.
04:31Cam Schlittler couldn't hear his pitch calm.
04:33That's how loud it was out there.
04:35So easy with freaking Yankee stuff.
04:38My God, I'm so glad they're down 0-2.
04:40We're going to bring Josh in.
04:41Now I'm upset.
