00:14So New York is preferring an extension close to four for 200. Just saw Jalen Duren get something similar to
00:22that. He was five for 200, but Towns's eligibility is for four for two 76, which is 76 million more
00:30dollars. Um, now Towns has reportedly been willing to accept less John, but that doesn't mean $75 million less or
00:40a hundred million dollars less like Jalen Brunson did.
00:42His current contract that he's on now is $57 million this season, a $61 million player option for next season
00:50and declining that option would obviously make him a free agent in the summer of 27. So what do you
00:57think here? Because obviously the Knicks have been outspoken about not going into the second apron and we, you know,
01:04obviously James Dolan is like this, even though he shouldn't be, but they don't want to get into these penalties.
01:09They don't want to pay guys too much to, and they, they brought back basically
01:12their whole team too. So what, what do you think of this whole dispute? Do you think this is anything
01:16or do you think they'll finally just come to a resolve here?

04:58To me, this is just my own personal opinion. Some of these athletes, they get so focused on the money
05:04that they absolutely ruin the other end of their career.
