00:07$25 million donation to Leading the Future, a pro-AI super PAC network, according to
00:12a report in the New York Times. Brockman told OpenAI employees in June that the couple had
00:16no plans to contribute beyond the $25 million already donated. He said he felt terrible that
00:22the group continued to reflect on OpenAI and had become a distraction for employees.
00:26OpenAI separately said it does not direct the super PAC or have visibility into its operations.
00:31Leading the Future had said the Brockman's second $25 million contribution would arrive
00:36in the first quarter of 2026, but no payment was made through the third quarter.
