I had a lot of fun making this and testing it out. Many of the images I loaded on the mask did not show up all that well on camera. Note that this device can hold up to 10 images at a time.
Yes I can see. The light projecting the image is on the opposite side of the fan blade so I can see right through it.
The Mask can be powered via USB port. In the video I am using a laptop and a backpack so it will last for hours. I did some testing with smaller battery packs and although it works you only get maybe an hour out of it.
