00:08I would like to clarify a few points around the investigation.
00:13Firstly, a police response was activated in the early hours of Sunday morning
00:18due to a range of information that we received.
00:23This included a call from the member of public
00:26about several vehicles acting suspiciously close to RAF Fairford.
00:32Now those vehicles, as I explained yesterday, have been subject to extensive examination
00:37with the support of military assets and forensic experts
00:40and we can confirm that no improvised explosive devices have been found.
00:46We have found a quantity of an accelerant, petrol,
00:50and we have recovered that as part of our investigation.
00:54As part of our investigation, we have also searched properties in London
00:58and those searches are now finished.
01:01And we're also now reducing the investigative scenes around RAF Fairford
01:05and we expect them to be closed completely tomorrow.
01:09You'll also be aware that yesterday we released five men on police bail.
01:14Now they remain under investigation and they must adhere to very strict conditions.
01:21It's really important that you understand that the safety of the public
01:25is at the forefront of our investigative decision making
01:28and this was certainly the case yesterday.
01:31But I would like to reiterate that this is an investigative decision
01:35and one which is grounded in experience and strategy.
01:58is completely different?
