00:00At first glance, very much still an Apple Watch, but Apple has made some changes here and I actually
00:05think the new finishes are one of the things you're going to notice first. There are new
00:09color options across the whole lineup, I am really digging this bronze color, but man this pearl
00:15white is actually absolutely striking in person. The overall design remains very familiar though,
00:21you've still got the digital crown, the side button, then on the ultra 4 you get that extra
00:26action button. But flip the watches over and you can see where Apple has made some more
00:31substantial changes. This is the new health sensor system which enables more frequent heart rate and
00:37heart rate variability measurements. And that's important because a lot of the new health features
00:42coming to the series 12 and ultra 4 build on the data collected from this health sensor.
00:48Alongside the watches, Apple announced new health insights including a readiness score which is
00:53designed to help you understand the general state of your body on any given day and even throughout
00:58the day. That'll calibrate after 7 nights accounting for now overnight HRV tracking and this is a feature
01:05that will be ready at launch. But a lot also won't be ready at launch, namely everything bundled in the
01:10redesigned health app. I'm going to be really excited to dig into this when it's live, there's a big
01:15emphasis on longevity metrics including health age and this feature where you use your iPhone and Apple
01:21watch to measure your VO2 max, mobility, it's cool stuff. But cool stuff that again isn't coming
01:26until later this year. The same goes for some of the new AI powered features as part of this push
01:32into audio intelligence. Apple is making Siri more capable on the watch and there's this really
01:38interesting feature called live rewind that can let you go back and have a transcript of something you
01:43missed in just the last 15 seconds. Also Siri recap, basically the cliff notes of any important
01:49interactions you have during the day. It's kind of like the whole point of those AI pins but now it's
01:54just on your Apple watch. Naturally there's a big conversation around privacy now with having a
02:00smartwatch capable of continuous audio capture. Let me know if you're already planning to upgrade.
02:05Thanks for watching this one. I will catch you guys next time.
