00:00Hi everyone, I'm Rhiannon Schilling and I'm a finalist within the sustainability category.
00:05I'm from South Australia and I was raised on a mixed cropping and livestock property.
00:11I'm also an agricultural scientist. I really enjoy delivering research that makes an impact
00:17on farm. Each day I work alongside our growers and advisors to find new ways to increase both
00:25the profitability and also sustainability of our farming systems. I'm focused on both the crop
00:31and the soil management. So from improving our soil health through use of different organic
00:37amendments, through the use of an understanding of the soil microbiome, to improving our farming
00:43systems and looking at ways to achieve more uniform plant establishment through the use of moisture
00:49sensing technology on our CEDA systems. I'm really grateful to be a finalist within this award
00:56and I look forward to working in this industry for many years to come.
