05:41thank you so much dave and once again we do have gathered media here please step right over there if
05:46you would like to ask some questions but let's get things started here on the dais a question for
05:50each fighter up here first up darren till you know it's been talked about a lot in the lead up
05:55years
05:55ago that you said you wanted no part of your romero then you win your fight and you say you're
06:01not afraid
06:02of anybody how important is it now for you to step up and take care of romero after saying that
06:08after
06:08your first win yeah i think it's very important obviously it's a big challenge but i've never been afraid
06:14of any man in my life i think as a fighter if you're a real man's fighter not like these
06:17fighters
06:17of today you'll fight anyone anywhere at any fucking time and i proved that over and over again
06:22you know years ago this still stands the same the same y'all y'all is a beast and you
06:27know he's he's
06:28always been one of them guys even in the ufc that a lot of people have wanted to avoid it
06:31was a tongue
06:32in cheek comment from me but this just proves i will fight anyone anywhere and i there's not a lot
06:39i can
06:39really say other than every question i've been asked under the sun about me and y'all i'm coming
06:44for pure fucking violence on saturday night five two minute rounds everyone who's ever watched any
06:48of my fights i don't like to mess about i like to fight i like to punch kick elbow and
06:52knee obviously
06:53i can't do all that saturday but this is the purest form of fighting for me this is gladiatorship from
06:592000 years ago as i've already said and you're gonna get to witness me and you know one of the
07:04most
07:04feared men in fighting sports do it on saturday night i'm about gonna come to head to head and have
07:08a
07:08fucking war and that's what i've come for you know what i mean so but all after all the questions
07:14and all that this is what it comes down to this is what everyone pays the money for they don't
07:17pay the
07:17money to to see me answering stupid questions what people like this that do that i've answered every
07:22question he's paying his fucking money to see me and him go at it and trust me saturday night we're
07:26gonna go right fucking at it i'm convinced you're putting on the night y'all romero i think the
07:36stare down just ended just a few minutes ago i mean that stare down was amazing um over three minutes
07:41long the stare down at the first press conference yo it seems like this matchup is different for you
07:47that you're taking this even more seriously why is that the case why is this fight so important
07:52to you against darren till
08:00first off i'd like to thank everybody here present
08:09thank you for bkfc for letting me uh compete in this great event
08:25this is a great opportunity for me to show people that you can do anything that's anything
08:30that you like i need that everything is possible you know me and darren we share the same uh the
08:44same
08:44philosophy for this fight we're you know we're blessed to be here my opinion is the same as him
08:54this is a great opportunity it's not time for people talking
09:03it's time to show people what we're made out of
09:12god bless everybody and i hope everybody enjoys what's going to happen on saturday
09:20we'll go to that world middleweight championship bout i'm going to go to the challenger first
09:25jack on hometown guy right i mean just miles away you got your first shot at world championship gold
09:31in this company how important is it to you to ensure that this title stays right here in manchester
09:37at the end of the night it means uh it means hell of a lot listen i've been going to
09:41bed i've been
09:42waking up i've been constantly thinking about it it's been on my mind listen it's been on my mind
09:46for weeks and um there's no reason me not not to be winning listen i don't take nothing away from
09:50dave he is a good fire he's beat everyone in front of him so listen it is a big thing
09:55it's a big
09:56challenge but i'm um i'm here i'm here to take it i really am i like it and let's talk
10:01to the champ
10:02here dave mundell the redneck fifth title defense uh last time we got together and did this press
10:09conference you said that colin didn't deserve to be in the ring with you and that you're going to
10:12let your fists do the talking now you're days away taking on a boxing champion what's your final
10:18message to jack colin as we're just 48 hours away that bell's coming home with me is that you know
10:25when you when you look at his style dave let's elaborate on it a little bit when you look at
10:29that
10:29boxing style and you look at that reach are the things that worry you about this matchup like what
10:34are you concerned about with a guy like colin listen i'm gonna go out there i'm gonna do me i'm
10:38gonna come forward i'm gonna put my hands all over him i'm gonna win there it is he's the champion
10:43for a reason folks dave mundell let's talk about championships and let's go to gas grand the
10:48inaugural uk middleweight title on the line what can the manchester crowd expect from the crusher
10:55does it have to be a knockout on saturday night for you no it doesn't have to be a knockout
11:00it's just
11:01gonna be a win under any circumstances whatever it takes whether it's one round five rounds and
11:08the six round it doesn't really matter we're gonna just expect pure violence off me pure violence off
11:14mac as well both of us are coming in there to do a proper job on each other so this
11:19could be fire of
11:20the night you know mac you know there's folks out here that maybe feel like gas may be looking past
11:26you
11:27when when you look at this matchup how do you ensure at the end of the night that you walk
11:31away
11:32as the middleweight champion to be honest i've been looking past him i want the winner of them two next
11:37but with all due respect look guys look he's tough he's hard but i put so much work in
11:46i don't i don't see it going any other way it's too clinical everything's too clinical everything will have
11:51a purpose oh yeah i'm not gonna devour my fucking game plan but look just get a fucking get your
11:58notebook out get your checkbook out as well because the next fight i want a big payday
12:03hey you talking about getting your money out get on rain bed that's the official betting partner put
12:07your bets down guys we want to see you out there putting action on these fights another one to get
12:11excited about of course is this cruiserweight championship fight here for the uk and andy thornton
12:16you come in as the challenger you have said in the past that carl thompson has a glass jaw is
12:23it your
12:23plan to exploit that and go for the quick knockout or is it something else on fight night when you
12:29hit
12:29glass what happens shatters breaks that's what's going to happen saturday night and i've got no will
12:35towards him seems like a very humble very nice guy but it's only ending one way and that's sleep
12:40and i've told you this last time sleep so so let me go to you carl it sounds like he's
12:47kind of
12:47talking to the voice he's he's showing a little bit of respect but he's also saying he's going to
12:51shatter that jaw all day carl i mean when you hear that you know what do you have to do
12:55to retain that
12:56title well i shouldn't speak out of the words obviously yeah it was mutual respect you know for
13:01these couple little beaten fighter but uh i've trained my ass off for this and i'm in greatest
13:06shape i've ever been in and uh whether it goes one round or five rounds or whatever you know
13:11what i mean i trade for five so yeah it's gonna be a brilliant fight it's gonna get the fans
13:16going
13:16so that's what i'm looking forward to i'm looking forward to putting on a great show
13:20and uh yeah under saturday i think the talk is done now so it's just time to time to get
13:25on with it
13:26the fun part no doubt about it the fun part indeed that's going to be live on the zone all
13:31around
13:32the world and as mr feldman said less than 500 tickets available for this if you want to be here
13:38a sold out historic event here at the ao arena and i know we got questions here from some assembled
13:44press so let's go to that right now please say your name where you're from and send your question in
13:48oscar is from the mac life question for david you know we heard about the ticket sales for this event
13:53talk to us about what the uk means as a market for bare knuckle fc and why you think it
13:58does so well
13:59over here i think um the people here are real i mean the uk people the fans they're real fans
14:04they
14:05want to see fights they want to see violence and that's what bkfc gives them and i and i really
14:10want
14:10to thank them for supporting us all the way up to this fight now and to making us a mainstay
14:15in combat
14:16sports in the uk now i mean again as i said in the last couple events it's it's no longer
14:21will they or
14:22if they will or when they will we're fucking here now for darren you know you've heard your own
14:29remark about being scared of romero in the past over and over again how sick of you are actually
14:34how sick of you about hearing that at this point sick to death of it you even more sick to
14:39that you've
14:39just asked it now wherever you are
14:44where is he
14:47oscar from the stomping ground i got a question for david you mentioned how big this is for bkfc the
14:52night the ticket sales the pay-per-view interest as well obviously the man sitting next to you
14:56darren teal can fight he can talk as well i just want to know beyond this fight what you feel
15:00like
15:01the peak looks like for darren what fight that is where that is when it comes to darren and his
15:05future
15:05with bkfc i mean i think you know if if darren wins uh we definitely have some options for him
15:12we
15:12have two big options for him that could be you know one of the biggest events in the uk and
15:17if yo wins
15:18we also have plans for him so you know they're different plans for each guy but we have some
15:22plans for both guys depending on who wins slew the reporter question for jack we know that your
15:28opponent dave has had 10 more fights in the bkfc than you he's well experienced what makes you think
15:34your hand is going to be raised come saturday night i just believe i'm i just believe i'm a better
15:39fighter i can want it more i really do and you'll see that i'm fine right
15:45dave a question to you we saw a schedule come out not too long ago a couple of months ago
15:50for
15:51a fight here in the uk bkfc is that something you're going to be doing each year potentially
15:56try to put more bkfc shows here in england because as we see from ticket sales a lot of people
16:02a lot of
16:03fight fans are interested yeah definitely we're going to do um 12 shows here in 2027 and maybe even
16:10more i mean we love it here in the uk like i said the fans come out but more than
16:13that the fighters
16:14come out and the fighters come out and fight their asses off and that's why we want to keep coming
16:18back here hi sonya k independent sports combat journalist this is a question for gaz the crusher
16:26corin uh gaz crusher by name crusher by nature you have won your last five fights by knockout all in
16:34sorry four out of those fights have been in the first round i mean you said that you're not going
16:39for the knockout uh but how are you going to make this fight of the night i don't really ever
16:46go for
16:46the knockout i don't think anybody does but it just seems to happen um the pressure the movement my
16:53speed it just it just happens it just happens and it's gonna happen again to mac uh unfortunately it's
17:01you make uh you know but the knockout will come at some point i'll break him up i'll break his
17:08face
17:08your face can only take so much so i'll break his fucking first man
17:14listen don't be running right because this is bkfc mate fighting championship let's get that right
17:20ask my fucking oh ask my fucking coach if i'd like to run i'll fucking hate running i'll be there
17:25right with you guys don't you worry about that son see what you're fucking doing in there this is
17:30liam lindsay with verdict mma question for darren till i spoke to david feldman the other day and
17:35he said that he believes that he can make tommy fury versus yourself in bkfc do you believe him that
17:40he can make that fight and is there a fight that you're interested in next i wasn't even allowed to
17:45tommy for his last fucking fight mate so i don't think he's gonna get in the fucking ring with me
17:50i think i think realistically i think money talks in this game uh so obviously you know if david
17:58david's done everything he said he's gonna do up to this point especially with bernacle so you know
18:03if there's one man you can believe in david can get it done but for me personally uh from what's
18:08happened since we were meant to fight i i don't personally ever think i'm gonna fight tommy
18:11would i fight him yeah but i'm also not gonna sit here keep him going on about it you know
18:17it's i
18:17think it's past that point so if david thinks he can get it done yeah you know i don't even
18:22think
18:23i've ever looked at a fight contract in my life i just say yeah to every fight and that's how
18:25it
18:25should be but you know we'll see one day maybe nathan from boxing now question for david david where
18:34would you rank this fight card in terms of most exciting cards you've ever put up and why um it's
18:40very
18:40exciting it's one of the top three fight cards that we've ever put on i mark it as actually the
18:44biggest fight the the actually i mark it as the biggest bare knuckle fight that the world has ever
18:49seen i mark it as that because it's not just the ticket sales or the pay-per-view buys it's
18:54it's how
18:54many people are talking about this it's how many media publications are writing about this this event
18:58is going nuts it's going wild so because of that i mark this as the biggest event that we've ever
19:03done
19:11all right folks it looks like that's all we got here from our assembled media uh want to thank all
19:15the fighters we still have face-offs to go and is if you remember from the last press conference the
19:21face-offs can get very interesting here at the bkfc so don't go anywhere we got face-offs coming up
19:28right after this
