00:00This is a tax that hospitality businesses simply cannot afford. It comes off the back of two
00:04budgets, which between them have cost somewhere around 100,000 jobs and added £7 billion in
00:10costs onto the sector. We do estimate that if it's a 5% tax, and bearing in mind the mayors
00:17have been given an unlimited power, so it could be 10%, 20%, but if it's 5%, we think it's about
00:2333,000 jobs lost in one go. That is the same amount of people as the total steel industry
00:30in the UK.
