00:00Good evening and welcome to a new episode of your show, What's Happening.
00:03Today is Friday, 4, 9, 24, 29, 26, 4, September 26, 20, 26, 10, 21, or 2, 22, Rabi al
00:14-Awl.
00:14Our hearts are with our people in Algeria once again. We must not forget or ignore them.
00:20The issue of the massive fires in Algeria, which claimed the lives of more than 400 people in the
00:27Algerian provinces. And of course, the largest number was in the provinces of Algeria. Today,
00:33we are also facing another unfortunate incident in Algeria. If you remember the Algerian boy,
00:42Rian, who a few years ago fell into a deep well in Algeria, there were many major efforts to save
00:50him. We talked a lot about this. On this channel, we talked about him. And now a new boy,
00:57named Ayyub, who is 10 years old. Also, the tragedy has happened again with Ayyub, the 10-year-old,
01:07in Algeria, specifically in El Bayad province, in the town of El Gasul in Algeria. He was playing,
01:17and while he was playing in the area, he suddenly fell into an artesian well, unfortunately,
01:24once again. And according to the available information, the depth of this well is 80 meters,
01:30and its diameter is 40 centimeters, meaning its opening is 40 centimeters. And the depth inside
01:37the ground is 80 meters, which is a significant depth. Honestly, Ayyub, whose story we failed to
01:46report properly, it has been about two days, unfortunately, he fell into this large artesian
01:54well, along with our people and the animal. The Algerian civil protection has been working for two
02:02days, trying to rescue Ayyub and reach him in time. Of course, the mammouth of the well was covered with
02:10two wooden planks. He was playing and didn't see it. He thought, he thought that this wooden board was
02:16normal to walk on. But as soon as he walked on the wooden board, he fell into the depths of
02:23the well.
02:26Unfortunately, unfortunately, of course, the rescue is still ongoing until this moment for the boy, Ayyub.
02:35The rescue operation or civil protection had to try to dig a well because this is the only way to
02:45save
02:45him, to dig a well exactly parallel and right next to the main well he fell into. Let's say this
02:53is
02:53the first well. This is the well where Ayyub fell, for example. They can't go down inside the well
02:59because it's very deep and difficult. Even lowering a rope to him is not possible and there are many
03:05difficulties. So they dig another parallel well here and they reach this point by digging the
03:11parallel well. Then they go in and dig horizontally until they reach the child or the boy. Ayyub, right now
03:19there is indeed tremendous work going on and they are almost done digging the well. But of course,
03:23they can't rush it because you are digging parallel well to the first one. So you actually fear a soil
03:31collapse or a landslide which could affect the boy. Lion, honestly, Ayyub. Honestly, there are clips where
03:39they lower the camera and you can see Ayyub. I apologize for broadcasting it and the boy was crying
03:46a lot. So I apologize for sharing such clips on my channel but we can't help it. All we can
03:53do now is
03:54pray for the boy Ayyub, that God brings him out safely. And we hope that the Algerian civil
04:06protection teams can rescue him and that he remains alive. It's clear that all the residents are gathered
04:15around this well. No one can offer any help. It doesn't make any difference at all. We just stay
04:21here with you. We're following it closely and hopefully we're hearing positive news from there
04:26that they'll be able to reach him before it's too late. I hope anyone residing in Al-Bayad province
04:32or the municipality of Al-Gasul. Please contact us. Talk to us in the comments. Stay with us.
04:38with Amad al-Daram presenting and hosting the show Shusire on Blue Kfir.
