00:01It's about purity. Foot equals output. If you do something you get the response in the perfect time and the
00:08perfect amount of response.
00:17Hello and welcome to Hethel for the Amira 420 Sport launch for some great track activity.
00:23We've invited my best friend Chong, fellow Vehicle Dynamics Engineer over from China.
00:29You're going to experience all the things that were done, changes, the Hethel track again. I know you're familiar.
00:34Let's go and experience the bits that we're going to talk about.
00:37Cheers!
00:40Let's do it!
00:42So, Gavin, now we're on the new litres 420 S.
00:45So, what has changed from the original Amira?
00:48It's made a bit of changes.
00:50Aerodynamics, eventing the air vent, lightweight battery, the titanium exhaust, louvered panels, all this good stuff.
00:56A lot of this technology we've learned through racing.
00:59More power, more torque, more aerodynamics.
01:02Some 25 kilos of aerodynamics, but also 25 kilos of lightness weight.
01:11You can feel the lightness in this part right now?
01:14Yes!
01:14It's the lightness linked with agility.
01:16Very perfect.
01:17Body control as well.
01:18You know, we've got pretty few of those things.
01:24I think we have a new set of them for the Multimatic.
01:27What a good rule!
01:29Multimatic are probably number one in motorsport.
01:32Wind it up to 11, and then you have something that can challenge corners like a GT4 car.
01:38Yeah, that's right!
01:39If you touch a kerb, you won't feel any disturbance in the car.
01:42You can easily run the kerbs, and the car will stay perfectly flat.
01:47Drop the car at 5mm to prevent the wheelhouses, but also side scoops and other side sill to keep the
01:54air control under the car as well.
01:56There's a perfect mix there with aerodynamics.
01:59We're super efficient in a straight line.
02:01Yeah.
02:01In this category, our four-cylinder in this car is the fastest four-cylinder car in the world.
02:07Oh, you're right, are we?
02:09Nothing, ain't it?
02:13You know, it's great, Gavin.
02:15Yeah, cool, isn't it?
02:16Yeah.
02:16You know, everything we spoke about, live weight, extra performance, handling, you just experienced it all in one go.
02:23I think, great weather, good driving, great company.
02:25Perfect.
02:26Thank you.
02:26Okay, see you soon.
02:27Take care.
