02:13Again, war of words have continued ever since the TVK has come into power in Tamil Nadu,
02:19which is a rather common occurrence we see when there is a shift in power in a certain state.
02:24But right now, there is a major project that's been scrapped by the Vijay government that we're referring to here,
02:30which is the Parandur Airport Project.
02:32Now, over that, the DMK has come out to make some very big claims that it's been done so that
02:37Andhra Pradesh benefits from it.
02:39Because Andhra Pradesh has a certain airport which does not get blocked or used less,
02:45which is why the Parandur Project has been completely scrapped and thrown out of the window.
02:49So, what is right here and what is wrong here, that's something we will get an idea about here with

02:57about what is being said right now by the DMK and also the reasons that have been cited by the

03:03for scrapping the Parandur Project, which is something we've taken you through details earlier.

03:12This is what the DMK now has said, the fact that Andhra Pradesh will benefit from this entire move
03:19and it is keeping in mind that very advantage to Andhra Pradesh,
03:23which is why TVK and led by Chief Minister Vijay, listening to certain advisors from Andhra,
03:29scrapped this entire project.
03:35Yeah, that's right.
03:37And that's because both Vishnuretti and John Arogyasamy, they hail from that part,
03:41they hail from Andhra Pradesh and therefore that's RS Bharati there, the senior DMK leader,
03:45making a very scathing allegation that the very reason why Parandur Airport project was dropped,
03:50it was only so because the investors would rather go to Andhra Pradesh for investment
03:55so that it can benefit that state rather than Tamil Nadu.
03:58So therefore, hinting out that it's because of vested interests why Parandur Airport was dropped
04:03is what RS Bharati says.
04:06But here in TVK, a lot of leaders and ministers are of the opinion that the DMK,
04:11you know, in fact chose Parandur in the first place because a lot of DMK mantris and neethas
04:17have already bought real estate properties in and around Parandur.
04:20So therefore, having an airport in Parandur would greatly benefit them.
04:24So this is the exchange of war of words that, you know, that we are witnessing at the moment
04:29with one side saying that it was to shoo away investors to Andhra Pradesh
04:33and the other side saying that it was to greatly benefit the DMK leaders and their families
04:38and to boost real estate value by Parandur,
04:41who was chosen in the first place to build a second airport in Chennai.
