00:01After Lionel Messi announced his retirement from Argentina, an incredible video of him
00:06training with Diego Maradona resurfaced. Messi officially ended his international
00:12career at 39 after more than two decades with the national team. The footage takes
00:17fans back to the time when Maradona coached Argentina and a young Messi was already emerging
00:23as the country's next great number 10. Their time together also produced memorable moments
00:28away from matches, including Maradona personally helping Messi work on his free kicks.
00:33Maradona led Argentina to World Cup glory in 1986. Decades later, Messi finally did the same in 2022.
00:41Now, as Messi closes his chapter with Argentina,
00:45seeing the two legends together again hits differently.
