00:00Look at the games that we have in hand, my friend.
00:04Let's start with the champions,
00:05the current champions of the competition,
00:07Paris Saint-Germain.
00:09We're going to have some amazing games.
00:11Barcelona, Manchester City, Roma, Aston Villa,
00:14Galatasaray, Villarreal, Bratislava,
00:18and one very dangerous Italian Como team
00:21that is small in name, but big in the standings, my friend.
00:26What do you think?
00:27Big in the standings.
00:29Big names, too, for Como.
00:31Look, maybe not on the field.
00:33They don't have a bunch of household names.
00:34Coached by Fabergast, Thierry Henry,
00:38a co-owner of the club as well,
00:40bringing this squad up from this meteoric rise to the Serie A,
00:45and now here they are in the Champions League.
00:47Are you kidding me?
00:48They do not have an easy path forward, obviously,
00:51because they're a lower-ranked squad,
00:53but it's going to be fascinating to watch Cuomo.
00:55I hope that they do good things.
00:57I hope that they kind of become what we saw with other teams recently,
01:01where they just play with the heart,
01:03and they surprise,
01:04and they make magic happen on the field,
01:06and maybe even pull out some upsets.
01:09Who knows?
01:09But that first line, you're right.
01:10Now, madness.
01:11It's going to be insane.
01:13Insane.
01:14It's going to be hard for PSG to repeat the championship.
01:17Now, Arsenal was the best team in the past league phase of the Champions League.
01:24It's going to be tough.
01:25They have big teams in front of them.
01:27Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Real Betis, Lille,
01:31Napoli, that's always dangerous,
01:33and Sabah and Slavia Praha.
01:35Nick, do you think Arsenal, with its current form and its current roster,
01:41is also going to be a team to watch on this Champions League season?
01:46100%.
01:47100%.
01:47Arsenal is back, baby.
01:50Speaking of Thierry Henry.
01:51Like, they're back.
01:53I love Arsenal.
01:55I had an absolute blast watching them.
01:57Not because they're an exciting, sexy, fun, flashy squad.
02:00They were literally the opposite,
02:01but they were playing great football,
02:03and they got really far,
02:04and I honestly, for a while,
02:05thought they were going to take it all the way.
02:07But you missed one very important squad there on that list, mister,
02:11and that is Viking.
02:13Viking from Norway making their debut,
02:15coming in all the way from Norway,
02:18Norway making a name for itself
02:20on the world stage at the World Cup,
02:22thanks to Haaland,
02:23but now they're wiggling their way through
02:26into the Champions League as well.
02:29Them and Glimp.
02:30Now, before we move on to big news
02:31in the UEFA headquarters, Nick,
02:35I want to pull up the teams that are in the number four pot,
02:41the bottom of the bottom of the classification
02:43for Champions League.
02:45Now, these are the underdogs, as you call them.
02:48These are the stories that we follow since last season.
02:51Tell me, Nick, what can we expect from these teams?
02:55Do you see any of these actually pulling a surprise?
02:58Oh, boy.
03:00Last year, Marcelino, you sent me where?
03:03You sent me to Azerbaijan.
03:04You sent me to Kazakhstan.
03:05You sent me all over the world,
03:07getting me hyped, getting me pumped for these squads,
03:11only to be disappointed.
03:13I know.
03:14It's a beautiful dream fairy tale story,
03:17but at the end of the day,
03:18what we see tends to happen is these squads,
03:22like Saba here on this bottom list
03:24that you're talking about, again, from Azerbaijan.
03:26They're going to come out.
03:27They're going to play with heart.
03:29They won.
03:29Sure, they're Azerbaijanian title,
03:32but they're not going to do great, unfortunately.
03:34It's what we saw with Kairat Almaty from Kazakhstan
03:37who hosted Real Madrid got blown out.
03:39And then, you know,
03:40the same thing with that other Azerbaijanian squad
03:42last year as well.
03:43But it's a feat that they've made it here,
03:45that they've made a name for himself.
03:46And I have a fun fact for you for Saba, by the way,
03:47and I think that it's very worth noting.
03:50Their coach is Lithuanian.
03:51His name is Valdas Dombrauskas.
03:54I'm reading it here.
03:54I hope I got that right.
03:55He once financed a trip to England
03:57to pursue his coaching career
03:59with money that he won
04:01on Lithuania's version of
04:03Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
04:04So, these squads,
04:07they have these fascinating stories to them,
04:09these storylines that are not just,
04:11whoa, this small club made it
04:12all the way to the championship.
04:13No, it's more than that.
04:15It's also that they have these amazing histories
04:17and these amazing passionate fans
04:19in these small cities and towns and countries
04:21that they might come from.
04:23No one might have thought of Azerbaijan
04:24when it comes to football, at least.
04:26It's their job to kind of put them on the map.
