Video shows delivery of third batch of Su-35S fighter jets to Russian forces

United Aircraft Corporation (OAK/UAC) announced the delivery of a new batch of Su-35S multirole fighter jets to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), marking the third confirmed delivery of this type in 2026. The aircraft left the factory after undergoing a series of ground and flight checks before heading to their operational unit.  According to the manufacturer, the 4++ generation fighters completed the full scheduled cycle of factory tests and were evaluated in different operating modes by pilots from the Russian Ministry of Defense. After the process was completed, the aircraft conducted a ferry flight from Komsomolsk-on-Amur, in Russia’s Far East, to the airfield where they will be based.  OAK did not disclose how many Su-35S aircraft are included in the new delivery, continuing the practice adopted for several recent batches supplied to Russian forces.
