00:00On the 99th day of my kidnapping, everyone believed Claire Ashford had been murdered.
00:05My funeral had been grand enough to make the whole city sigh over Graham Blackwood's devotion.
00:11Claire, I swear, I'll mourn you for three years. Every day I'll come here to see you.
00:15Mr. Blackwood is so devoted. The whole city has seen it. His wife is so lucky.
00:20But I was not dead. I came back alive, scarred, and limping.
00:28Madam? You're alive?
00:30I'm not dead. Where's Graham?
00:35The room froze when I appeared.
00:37Claire? What the hell? How are you here? We thought you were dead.
00:40So that's the part bothering you, that I'm still alive?
00:41No. I sent men after you. They said you had already been... None of that matters now. You're back. God,
00:45Claire, I missed you.
00:46You missed me so much, you got my sister pregnant?
00:48Claire! Graham only did it to save me. I was drugged that night. He only stepped in because I was
00:52falling apart. He married because he felt responsible.
00:54The baby or me. Pick one.
00:56You just got back. We're not doing this tonight.
00:57So, I booked an abortion appointment.
01:00I'll take you myself tomorrow.
01:02Claire, hate me if you want, but this is Graham's baby too. How can you be cruel to an unborn
01:07child?
01:10Claire, you're going too far!
01:11Fine. Then we'll get divorced.
01:13You can't be serious. I'm taking Lydia to the hospital first.
01:20I am the Ashford family's long-lost biological daughter.
01:23Your room is upstairs.
01:25Sis is finally here! Mom, let me help her get the room ready.
01:28Don't worry about her. Just have the servants' handle it.
01:31But when I was brought back home, I became the one nobody wanted. Graham used to be the only one
01:36who loved me during that time.
01:38She doesn't need to change for anyone. She just needs to be herself.
01:44I married him for that.
01:48Outside Lydia's room, nurses whispered,
01:51Wasn't his wife supposed to be dead? If I didn't know better, I'd think that baby was his.
01:55Graham Blackwood loved his wife so much, he swore to mourn her for years.
02:01No one is touching our child. I'll handle Claire. I'm your husband. I'll protect you both.
02:08He had once said those exact words to me.
02:16The next morning, I went to Blackwood Holdings.
02:19What is this?
02:20Read the financial split. If you don't see a problem, sign the divorce papers.
02:24Divorce isn't happening. You're still Mrs. Black, and you always will be.
02:27I'm hosting a welcome home reception in two days. Everyone's been worried sick about you.
02:30Really? Or do you mean everyone hoped to stay dead?
02:37Claire, I never wanted you dead.
02:40Get Lydia out here!
02:41Claire, Lydia's having an asthma attack. If they take her, she won't survive. Buy me time. I swear I'll come
02:46back for you.
02:47No one came.
02:49Could be.
02:51That night, I met Zoe downtown.
02:54Claire.
02:56Where? Where's the file?
02:58Lydia was already four months along. They were sleeping together before you were taken.
03:02He cares about his image more than anything. I won't let him keep pretending.
03:05I went back to the Ashford house half drunk.
03:08You just came back and you're already embarrassing us.
03:11Dad, don't be hard on Claire. She's hurting.
03:13You were in kidnappers' hands for months. Who knows what kind of woman came back to us.
03:18Wouldn't divorce solve everything?
03:19Graham can marry Lydia and make the baby legitimate.
03:22Or would you rather your beloved grandchild be born a bastard?
03:26Claire!
03:26A sister who sleeps with my husband. Is what passes for family here?
03:34Upstairs, five photos arrived on my phone.
03:47Did you leak those photos in Lydia's medical records?
03:50You two are so in love. I thought I was helping.
03:52You will fix this today. Tell everyone I was only caring for her for you, and the child has nothing
03:55to do with me.
03:56Sign the divorce papers.
03:57Fine. But when this blows up in your face, don't come crying to me.
04:00He signed quickly, smug enough to think divorce was just another tantrum.
04:05That afternoon, the scandal burned through the city.
04:11Everyone's cursing me. Everyone's cursing me!
04:14I took the signed papers to the courthouse.
04:17I showed up at the welcome banquet that evening as planned.
04:20Don't ruin your relationship with Lydia over this.
04:22Cheating and knocking up my sister is a small thing to you?
04:25Did it ever cross your mind to ask what those 99 days were like for me?
04:29We don't need to hear that now.
04:30Of course. He only needed Mrs. Blackwood to repair the story.
04:34Thank you for being here. Since everyone is interested in recent rumors, I'll clear them up.
04:39Yes. My sister is pregnant with my husband's child.
04:43And I'm more than happy to let them have each other.
04:46Then I walked out with my head high while their perfect lie burned behind me.
04:52In the powder room, my hands finally shook.
05:02After a while, Lydia walked in with a smile.
05:05Did you think public pressure would force Graham back to you?
05:07The Blackwoods care about this baby.
05:09If it is born healthy, it will be their first grandson.
05:12You are not winning.
05:13You slept with my husband and other men too.
05:16Are you even sure who the father is?
05:18Do you know what you are?
05:20A curse!
05:20When you were kidnapped, that foster mother of yours begged Graham to save you.
05:24Then she smashed her head on the black hole's steps and he still didn't care!
05:29You had me kidnapped.
05:30You got my mother killed.
05:31How should I settle that debt?
05:32I'm carrying Graham's baby.
05:34You wouldn't dare.
05:35What exactly do you think I'm afraid of?
05:36Lydia immediately pretended to fall.
05:38Graham!
05:39Claire tried to throw me out the window.
05:41She said she'd never let our baby be born.
05:43Claire, this has gone far enough.
05:45You think I scare that easily?
05:47Take her to the top floor.
05:48Hang her from the beam.
05:49Nobody cuts her down without my order.
05:51For one second, I could not breathe.
05:53Then hands seized me, and the man I once loved carried Lydia away.
06:06Graham!
06:08Let me down!
06:15Mr. Blackwood, she's fading.
06:17Should we pull her up?
06:18If you let her down now, she won't learn.
06:20Maybe cut the rope and let her fall into the pool.
06:22Fine.
06:23Whatever you want.
06:24Cold water might knock sense into her.
06:26For 99 days, I had invented excuses for you.
06:30Maybe rescue could not find me.
06:33Maybe he was worried sick.
06:35The lie shattered as the rope was cut.
06:38When I woke, I was in the hospital.
06:40Claire, thank God.
06:42Lita forgave you.
06:43She even spoke to your parents for you.
06:46Forgive me?
06:48A woman who sleeps with her sister's husband doesn't get to talk about forgiveness.
06:51In another century, she'd have been run out of town.
06:54Lydia had fallen from bed and was asking for you.
06:57She lost the baby because of you.
06:58If something happens to her, even her plitting won't save you.
07:01She did that to herself.
07:04Why do you make things worse for yourself?
07:20Claire, Graham's been telling people you're mentally unstable.
07:22He says the kidnapping messed with your head and that your accusations are all delusions.
07:27Once a woman was labeled crazy, no one cared what she said.
07:31He doesn't need to prove me wrong.
07:32He just needs to make people tired of hearing what I have to say.
07:35When I was discharged, Graham came with Lydia to pick me up.
07:38I'm here to take you home.
07:40No need.
07:40I pulled my hand from his and took a cab to the Ashford house instead.
07:44Your sister lost her baby and the Black Hoods demand answers.
07:47If we don't stop you now, who knows what disaster you'll cause.
07:49She threw herself down on purpose!
07:51You sound insane.
07:52We will discipline her properly.
07:53Any objection?
07:54No.
07:55There is blood on her hands.
07:56She needs reflection.
08:00Apologize to your sister!
08:02I did nothing wrong.
08:03What am I apologizing for?
08:05Switch to the whip.
08:05When I woke up, Lydia was sitting nearby, pretending to be concerned.
08:10Graham said he hopes they break you.
08:12Get out.
08:13Her face changed.
08:14She dragged me into a bathtub filled with chilly water.
08:19No one would care even if you died here.
08:27I only wanted to clean her wounds.
08:30She dragged me in.
08:31Claire, apologize to Lydia.
08:33I turn and walk away.
08:34He followed, caught my wrist, and pulled too hard.
08:38My footing vanished.
08:43You need to take Claire to a hospital.
08:46Actions have consequences.
08:48Father threw me out that night.
08:50I don't have a daughter like you.
08:54Bleeding and soaked by rain, I went to the house I had shared with Graham.
08:58Our wedding portrait was gone.
09:00My photos had been replaced.
09:04There's a thief!
09:06Oh God, it's Claire.
09:08I didn't know.
09:08This isn't your fault.
09:09She shouldn't sneak around like a thief.
09:11Stop going after Lydia.
09:12You'll always be Mrs. Blackwell.
09:14You're going to regret this.
09:20The next morning, I took my finalized divorce certificate and went straight to the airport.
09:27A few days later, Graham received a call.
09:30Lydia Ashford is with us.
09:32Bring your wife, Claire, or we can't promise she'll walk away untouched.
09:37I was already gone.
09:38He rushed to my hospital room and found it empty.
09:43Where's the patient in this room?
09:45She was discharged yesterday.
09:46She signed the papers herself.
09:50The number you have dialed is out of service.
09:53He searched the house, the Ashfords, then Zoe's apartment.
09:57Where is she?
09:59Now you care?
10:00Lydia has been taken.
10:01They want Claire.
10:02I need to bring Claire there immediately.
10:03So you need her as bait.
10:04Again, you pushed her toward kidnappers once, and now you want to do it again?
10:08She really was blind to love you.
10:12Found the location.
10:13It's in a warehouse outside the city.
10:15Graham had no choice but to give up and walk away.
10:18At the warehouse, he looked through a crack and saw Lydia alive, unbound.
10:23How much longer?
10:24He is bringing Claire, right?
10:26Relax.
10:27If you pushed Claire at the kidnappers once, he'll do it again.
10:29If he brings her, what do we do with Claire?
10:31Up to you.
10:32I'll decide when I see her.
10:37Graham?
10:38Why are you here?
10:40Aren't you the one who wanted me here?
10:42For the first time, the perfect victim had been caught standing on her own feet.
10:48It's not what you think.
10:49Ever since Claire came back, I've been scared she'll take you away.
10:53I needed to know who mattered more.
10:56You know I hate being lied to.
10:58If you're fine, go home.
10:59Your parents are worried.
11:03I won't do anything reckless again.
11:06Please forget this.
11:09If I had brought Claire tonight, what were you planning to do to her?
11:13But you didn't bring her.
11:14So she still matters to you.
11:23If Claire comes back, call me immediately.
11:26Got it.
11:32Sir, we found out that Miss Claire flew to New Zealand on the day she was discharged.
11:35I want to go to New Zealand for our honeymoon, skydiving, glacier racers, and Lake Tecbo under the stars.
11:41Let's talk about it later.
11:42Graham had always said later until I stopped asking.
11:46He almost booked a plane, then another scandal hit.
11:50Videos of Lydia with other men.
12:00Why is it everywhere?
12:01Tell him it's fake.
12:02Say the woman isn't me.
12:03He will believe it if he loves you enough.
12:04I know this was Claire.
12:05She can't stand seeing me happy.
12:07Mr. Blackbird!
12:10Get lost!
12:13You said Claire knew about all this?
12:15Yes, she faked everything.
12:17She hates me.
12:18Who else could have done it?
12:19Claire isn't like that.
12:20Before all this, she never once tried to hurt you.
12:22She killed our baby!
12:23She attacked me!
12:24And after 99 days with kidnaps, who knows how many men she slept with?
12:26Enough!
12:28We slept together once, and you got pregnant.
12:31I took responsibility.
12:33That is why, when the kidnappers asked for you, I pushed Claire forward.
12:37You swore I was the only man you had ever been with.
12:40So who are the men in those photos?
12:42Do I look stupid?
12:47I confess!
12:48It was a fake kidnapping!
12:50And the first time, if she hadn't escaped on her own, they never planned to leave alive!
12:53He confessed.
12:54The fake kidnapping in the first one.
12:56If Mrs. Blacko had not escaped herself, they never meant to let her her Huawei.
13:01Did you ever intend to let Claire come back alive?
13:04Did you tell my men she was dead so I would stop searching?
13:07Was the fall really Claire's fault?
13:09Was the pepper water your idea?
13:10You told me you trusted me!
13:12Don't push me, or do you want the kind of punishment your family uses?
13:16I didn't.
13:17I really didn't.
13:19Take Miss Ashton to the kennel.
13:20Leave her there until honesty is worth something.
13:23Graham!
13:23You can't do this to me!
13:24I-I-I'll talk!
13:25Talk.
13:26No, Graham, please!
13:27So what if it's true?
13:28I loved you first!
13:30Why should Claire get everything because she came first on paper?
13:32That night you claimed someone drugged you.
13:34That was a lie, too?
13:34Yes.
13:35I did it myself.
13:35Just wanted to know if you'd save me.
13:37And you did.
13:37You'd take me back once.
13:38We could have another baby!
13:39Ah!
13:39After that, the truth spilled into public view.
13:44Comments tore through Graham's image.
13:48His mother told him to stay away from me.
13:50Everyone knows she was gone 99 days.
13:53No one knows what happened to her.
13:54Let her stay gone.
13:55The Black Hoods will not drag that shame back.
13:58Graham ignored her and booked a flight.
14:01Meanwhile, I landed in Auckland.
14:03Without Ashford's or Graham, life felt lighter.
14:11Then, at a restaurant counter, I heard a familiar voice.
14:15Ethan had been my brother in the family that raised me.
14:18Why are you crying?
14:20I'm the one who thought you were dead.
14:24I looked for you, too.
14:26The Kuroshis told me you were dead.
14:29Your funeral convinced the whole city.
14:31They're very good at making people disappear.
14:37But I'm still here, aren't I?
14:39Mentioning Mom, it's always been hard for me.
14:42I never got to see her one last time.
14:47Mom loved you more than anything.
14:49At the end, she told me that if I ever found you alive,
14:51I had to look after you for the rest of my life.
14:54Claire, I'm not Graham.
14:56If I give my word, I keep it.
14:58Nobody hurts you again.
14:59I don't need anyone taking responsibility for me.
15:03I want to live well.
15:04I owe her that.
15:08Later, drunk and exhausted, I fell asleep against his shoulder.
15:16I've been looking for you so long.
15:19Ethan, I'm so glad you're here.
15:22He carried me to the car.
15:24When I woke at dawn, mountains filled the windshield.
15:27Where are we?
15:29Queen Town, you always wanted to skydive, so I brought you.
15:31I have work.
15:32Covered.
15:33Since when are you this bossy?
15:35He opened my door with a grin.
15:37I wanted to be angry, but the sky, mountains, and clean air stole the protest from my mouth.
15:49We stayed in Queenstown for a week.
15:51Ethan took me skydiving, bungee jumping, glacier hiking, and stargazing.
15:57All the things Graham had postponed until later.
16:01You promised.
16:02Tonight you're making me a proper home-cooked meal.
16:05I've practically forgotten what hot food looks like.
16:08All right, I'll make you the best meal you've ever had.
16:15It's nothing.
16:16Don't look at me like that.
16:18Look at me.
16:19Don't close your eyes.
16:21Ethan, do you hear me?
16:22I heard you.
16:24You sure do like to talk.
16:27Quit making that face.
16:29I was promised dinner.
16:30Back at the apartment, I fed him.
16:32Next time, protect yourself first.
16:34Not really.
16:34You don't have to throw yourself in front of me.
16:36Not really.
16:37If one day you want to start over with someone, I'll be right here, waiting for you to pick me.
16:40Claire, I love you.
16:41Nothing changes that.
16:43I should have said I saw him only as family.
16:46With his eyes on me, the words would not come.
16:49Because of his injury, he moved into my place temporarily.
16:55For a while, I thought I was only grateful.
16:58Then, Ethan made me do things I once feared.
17:01Heights, darkness, crowds.
17:04With him beside me, panic loosened.
17:08Then, Graham found me.
17:10Claire, come home.
17:12Lydia's being punished.
17:14I know everything now.
17:15The kidnapping, the videos, the baby.
17:17I was wrong.
17:18I can fix it.
17:19What part can you fix?
17:20My dead mother?
17:21My broken body?
17:22The 99 days you traded away?
17:24I thought you were dead.
17:25My men told me-
17:25Before that, when the kidnappers asked for Lydia and you pushed me forward, when you hung me over a rooftop,
17:29you let my family beat me when you told everyone I was crazy?
17:32I was blinded.
17:33I know that now.
17:34I never stopped loving you.
17:35Love that has to destroy me before it recognizes me is not love.
17:38It is vanity.
17:40Ethan appeared behind me, saw Graham, and stopped.
17:43He turned and left, giving me the choice.
17:47Claire, please.
17:48My divorce is final.
17:49Mrs. Blackhead is dead.
17:50You buried her yourself.
17:51I left him standing there, but when I returned home, the lights were on.
17:55And the living room smelled of whiskey.
17:58You're back?
18:00This is my home.
18:01Where else would I go?
18:04Are you trying to drink yourself into the ground?
18:06No.
18:07You'll go with him.
18:08You saw us?
18:09Why did you leave?
18:10I thought maybe part of you was waiting for him.
18:11Maybe you still needed to say goodbye.
18:13Do I look like a woman who goes back for seconds after disaster?
18:15Why not say it instead of drowning yourself in whiskey?
18:19I was scared.
18:25Claire, is this okay?
18:27The next morning, Ethan watched me like he feared I was a dream.
18:31Does this mean you really let me in?
18:33Didn't you say that if I ever wanted to start over, you'd be right here?
18:36Then let's start over.
18:38No past.
18:39No ghosts.
18:40No one else.
18:41Just us.
18:42Three months later, we moved near Queenstown and planned Christmas.
18:49Then my father called.
18:51Claire, help us.
18:52Ask Graham to stop.
18:53Lydia was mauled by the Blackfoot's Mastiffs and sent to her to a private psychiatric facility.
18:57Blackfoot Horsham withdrew support from us.
18:59Can you watch your sister be destroyed?
19:00When she ruined my life, did any of you beg her to stop?
19:03If Lydia dies, she dies.
19:04It has nothing to do with me.
19:08Claire, I've avenged you.
19:09No one can hurt you again.
19:10If you don't want to come back, I'll stay here with you.
19:13We can make a life here.
19:15Graham, nothing is worse than a man who doesn't know when to leave.
19:17There is no us.
19:18Show some dignity and walk away.
19:21You too.
19:22Yes, we're together.
19:23Stop showing up or you'll have a problem with me.
19:25We live together.
19:27We're getting married.
19:28Stop humiliating yourself.
19:31Graham stayed outside our house five days.
19:33I'm standing right here, and you're still thinking about another man?
19:37How did you get rid of him?
19:39Why assume it was me?
19:40Because who else has that kind of pull?
19:42It is our first Christmas since finding each other again.
19:44I wasn't letting an unwanted guest ruin it.
19:49Christmas present.
19:50I hope you like it.
19:51That's cheating.
19:52I'll wait as long as it takes to marry you.
19:55Idiot.
19:55When did I say I was making you wait?
20:01Claire.
20:02I will spend the rest of my life being good to you.
20:05I swear I will never let go of your hand again.
20:10Thank you for giving me the courage to begin again.
20:14And for letting me finally be myself.
20:17For a while, the world was quiet.
20:19Not empty, not lonely, quiet.
20:22Graham did not vanish from the news.
20:24His company never fully recovered from the scandal.
20:28Zoe sent updates only when I asked.
20:31Lydia was alive, scarred, and furious.
20:34She blamed everyone except herself.
20:37Graham sent letters.
20:38I returned the first unopened.
20:40I burned the second.
20:42The third arrived with a photo from our wedding,
20:45and that one made me laugh.
20:46He never understood that the day he pushed me to the kidnappers,
20:50the woman in that photo had already died.
20:54In spring, I returned once to the city.
20:59I'm alive.
21:00Sorry I'm late.
21:03Lydia didn't win.
21:04Graham didn't win.
21:05The daughter you raised has finally learned how to stand on her own.
21:10A car stopped at the cemetery gates.
21:13Graham got out before security could block him.
21:16He looked wrecked.
21:20Claire, I didn't know she died here.
21:22I didn't know they turned her away.
21:24You knew enough.
21:25She begged you to save me.
21:26You buried the story.
21:27That is enough.
21:27I loved you.
21:28I know you don't believe it, but I did.
21:29No, you loved being loved by me.
21:31There is a difference.
21:31Can you forgive me?
21:32Even if you never come back, can you at least forgive me?
21:34Forgiveness is for people who need peace.
21:35I already have mine.
21:36You can carry yours by yourself.
21:38I left first.
21:39This time, no one stopped me.
21:44Since then, I've lived my life however I wanted.
21:51You don't have to be brave every second.
21:54I know.
21:55But I like being harder to kill than they expected.
21:58Months later, Zoe visited.
22:00Lydia wanted to sue everyone, but no one would take her case.
22:03Graham was kicked out of the family board by his mother and is now staying at a hotel.
22:08He asks if you're happy.
22:11Tell him nothing.
22:12He doesn't get reports on my life anymore.
22:14That night, Ethan burned the dinner and looked so offended by the pan that I laughed until I cried.
22:20It felt strange being this happy after so much ruin,
22:24but I decided happiness did not need permission from the people who had failed to break me.
22:29Our wedding was small by choice, not because we had no one.
22:32Zoe came.
22:34Ethan's closest friends came.
22:36Before the ceremony, I stood before the mirror and barely recognized myself.
22:45You look like trouble.
22:46Good.
22:47I worked hard for that.
22:48Are you scared?
22:49No.
22:49I used to think marriage meant handing someone to destroy you.
22:52Now I think it depends who means who you choose.
22:53I choose your version of you.
22:54The angry one, the scarred one, the one who refuses help, the one who steals all the blankets.
22:57I do not steal blankets.
22:58You absolutely do.
23:03I won't promise to save you.
23:04I promise to stand by you.
23:11News of the wedding reached Graham anyway.
23:14I knew because a letter arrived three days later, written in handwriting I had once loved.
23:21Should we burn it or frame it as evidence of delusion?
23:25Burning is cleaner.
23:40What are you thinking?
23:42That I used to be afraid the people who abandoned me were right about me.
23:45And now?
23:47Now I know they were afraid of what I would become once I stopped needing them.
23:51Outside, snow covered the road where no one from my old life could follow.
24:07I was thinking back when we got together.
24:11And in our hearts we were staying forever.
24:13So in love.
24:16Boy, we were so in love.
24:20Jealous was only one that broke up
24:23When looked in my eyes I should have spoke up and held you near
24:27But now I'm alone and here it comes again
24:32Cause I remember every word that you said
24:35It all just keeps standing and running in my head
24:38But it don't matter what I try to do
24:40I keep on forgetting to forget about you
24:43And I don't wanna think about you with you so much
24:47All the things we didn't know the way that we touched
24:49Just when I think I found something new
24:52I keep on forgetting to forget about you
24:55Forget about you
24:57Forget about, turn around
24:59Forgetting to forget about you
25:01Forget about me
25:02Hey you
25:06Now I'd be crazy to see that we were perfect
25:09And sometimes I wanted it but it was worth it
25:12But now I see how good you were for me
25:18And every time I drive by apartment
25:21I get this overwhelming urge to walk in and see your face
25:26And to be in that place all over again
25:30Cause I remember every word that you said
25:33It all just keeps standing and running in my head
25:36But it don't matter what I try to do
25:39I keep on forgetting to forget about you
25:42And I don't wanna think about you with you so much
25:45All the things we didn't know the way that we touched
25:48Just when I think I found something new
25:51I keep on forgetting to forget about you
25:54Forget about you
25:55Forget about, turn around
25:57Forgetting to forget about you
25:59Forget about me
26:01And you
26:05The way we laughed
26:07The way we kissed
26:08I never thought that I would miss
26:11All the things I used to complain about you
26:17The football games
26:19Hometown friends
26:20I'm glad to see it end
26:23Tell me why it feels so good with you
26:38Here it comes again
26:40Cause I remember every word that you said
26:44It all just keeps standing and running in my head
26:46But it don't matter what I try to do
26:49I keep on forgetting to forget about you
26:52And I don't wanna think about you baby so much
26:55All the things we didn't know the way that we touched
26:58And I don't wanna think about someone new
27:01I keep on forgetting to forget about you
27:04I remember every word that you said
27:07It all just keeps standing and running in my head
27:10But it don't matter what I try to do
27:13I keep on forgetting to forget about you
27:16Forget about you
27:17Forget about
27:18Let's me turn around
27:19Forgetting to forget about you
27:21Forget about me
27:23Hate you
27:24Hate you
27:26Yeah, forget about you
27:28Love you
27:29No matter who was
27:29Forget about me
27:30Let's go
27:30Know
27:30Yeah, I'm too
27:44¡ hahaha !
27:48ancient
