00:00Well, a herd of cows were seen moving through the rain yesterday in Bushnell, Nebraska.
00:06Video captured by meteorologist and storm chaser Tony Laubach.
00:10As storms continue to cross the central plains and Adam,
00:12this pattern is going to continue to produce some strong storms, at least for some,
00:15but others are going to end up on the bright side.
00:18That's true. One thing I think the viewers need to know about this video.
00:21In a meeting earlier, Tony said,
00:23Melanie, our producer, I have some video that I saved just for you.
00:27I know you're going to love it.
00:28She said, does that mean there's cows?
00:31And she was right.
00:32So we have to fit in the cow video for Melanie.
00:35Well, I mean, she's the one who put it in the show.
00:36But we love some good cow video.
00:39And thankfully, there's just some rain.
00:41Nothing the cows can't handle.
00:42Now, as we take a look ahead to your Thursday,
00:45since we've been talking so much about this evening and other portions of the show,
00:48I wanted to kind of look ahead a little bit.
00:50It's a much nicer day in many places, like Chicago, Green Bay,
00:54temperatures in the 70s, the 80s.
00:56And it's not very humid.
00:58That's the thing.
00:59So we look at the dew points, right?
01:00And anything 60 degrees or above,
01:02that's when it starts to feel a little sticky outside.
01:04That's where the green populates in our map.
01:06And look what's happening.
01:07As we go through Thursday,
01:08we still have some of it hanging on a little bit.
01:10But especially Thursday into Friday,
01:12we're seeing less and less of the humidity out there.
01:16It's feeling much more comfortable.
01:18Your AccuWeather real field temperature is much closer to that air temperature,
01:22that first number you see when you open up the AccuWeather app.
01:25Now, here's the thing, though.
01:26We do have more severe weather on the horizon.
01:28Thursday's kind of our break.
01:30The focus is a little further to the south overall.
01:34But Friday, flash flooding, hail, damaging wind.
01:37It is all back from Billings, Montana, all the way over towards Fargo
01:40and down to Sioux City, including some portions of Minnesota here,
01:44but not quite getting over to Minneapolis.
01:46Let's take a look at future radar and clouds,
01:48give you an idea of how all of it plays out exactly.
01:52So as we go through the rest of today,
01:55we go into tomorrow.
01:56Things are looking good.
01:57Yeah, we have some clouds, but you know what?
01:58Nothing we can't handle.
01:59Then we head into Friday, 7 a.m.
02:02Here's already some rain and thunderstorms moving their way in.
02:06And then what you're seeing on the right-hand side of your screen,
02:08more of that on the way as we head later into the day.
02:12So you can see we do get some rain and thunderstorms into Minneapolis,
02:15into Rochester,
02:15but that's just not where we think the most numerous severe storms
02:18are going to set up.
02:20But further to the east, especially as we head into Saturday,
02:22you will have the rain and thunderstorms,
02:24so heads up, just not necessarily more of the severe weather.
02:28All right, quick look at Chicago.
02:31The next couple of days we get a little bit of a break
02:33from the heat and the humidity,
02:34but our temperature is going to take back up
02:35above historical averages before too long here.
