00:29:37The Hales. The Hales. Soon to be the greatest family in Moonlight City. We'll all ride on Ellis's name.
00:29:46Father.
00:29:51Back, huh? Stand over there.
00:30:00Lord Ferris, here in person, to meet Ellis. Finally, a real dragon knight in this family.
00:30:17Lord Ferris came himself. He must approve of you already. I've had the finest armor, finest blade, all prepared. Tomorrow,
00:30:25hold nothing back. Show this city what a hail heir's worth.
00:30:29Don't worry, father. I'll make you proud. Oh, my little brother Owen's back. So after all those years in Dragon's
00:30:37Hollow, did you learn anything worth mentioning?
00:30:41I sent him up there to get him out of my hair, that's all. What could a backwards herit possibly
00:30:45know about power?
00:30:47Look at you. Filthy. Ragged. Nothing like a hail heir. Once your brother's a knight, you can be his squire.
00:30:55You should consider it an honor.
00:30:57Father, I entered the selection, too. Let me prove it. I'm not less than him.
00:31:05Look, not to crush your spirit, kid, but geniuses claw over each other for this. Every single year, only one
00:31:11will be selected to become a dragon knight. You really think you can best your brother?
00:31:17Delusional. Dragging that trash dragon along, too.
00:31:29Not trash. It's my partner! My brother!
00:31:46Go, then. I won't stop you. Embarrass the hails out there, though, and you're no son of mine.
00:31:54And keep that mutt out of sight. Your brother's about to bond with a real dragon.
00:31:59When people see your lizard next to his, they'll laugh us out of the city.
00:32:09Watch from the stands tomorrow, brother. See how a real hail heir becomes a dragon knight.
00:32:15As for you...
00:32:33Dragon Marshal Nemo made it clear. The Sanctuary Master's disciple is from the Hale family. My future master. Better mind
00:32:42my manners.
00:32:44Look! It's Ellis Hale! Heard a dragon knight paid the hails a personal visit yesterday. Selection hasn't even started and
00:32:51Ellis is already halfway in the door.
00:32:53God, just comparing myself to him hurts.
00:32:55Everyone, today's selection will be split in press. Round one. The dragon's pressure. Dragon Marshal Lord Ferris' mount unleashes its
00:33:05power. If you are swept away by its presence, you fail. Stay on your feet, you advance.
00:33:22You can't take a little pressure? You'll never bond a dragon. Never become a dragon knight!
00:33:37The dragon's pressure.
00:33:38On the side of the bat.
00:33:42The dragon's pressure.
00:33:44The dragon's pressure.
00:33:45The dragon's pressure.

00:43:53You both awaken your dragon power. For the Hales, that's everything.
00:43:59Begin!
00:44:02Father, I won't let you down.
00:44:15My god, are my eyes playing tricks? Level 8! Moonlight City's never seen talent like this!
00:44:20Heavens! The boys are prodigy! The Hales have got themselves a true dragon!
00:44:25Owen, your turn.
00:44:28What level do you think the little one pulls off?
00:44:31Can't be bad. Haleblood has never started beneath level. His half-brother just hit 8. The youngest got to be
00:44:376, 7 at least.
00:44:40Right? Maybe he'll even pull off a miracle.
00:44:54Wait, nothing? Not even a spark? How is that even possible?
00:44:59Unless he's not really the Patriarch's son.
00:45:01Shush, say that again and you're dead.
00:45:03Again!
00:45:33Your father sent you here. The Dragon's Hollow. You'll awaken your power or it'll kill you.
00:45:59I'm glad that you're blessed with the Dragon Gods mark at such a young age. Unheard of. It shows you
00:46:04a full level above dragon power.
00:46:17Ha! This kid's a fighter.
00:46:28Kids getting stronger by the day can barely hold him off. If he sees me bleeding, I'm finished. Some Sanctuary
00:46:35Master I'd be. Defeated by my own pupil.
00:46:55You have a letter from home. Take a look.
00:46:59Father's own hat. He remembers me after all. He wants me home.
00:47:05My worthless son home again. Will he really block Ellis's from ill fortune? Make my heir a Dragon Knight? Of
00:47:13course.
00:47:19Clan leader. The young master sent word back saying he survived the Dragon's Hollow and even taken a master.
00:47:31Trade one failure for a Dragon Knight? Now that's a bargain.
00:47:42Time to leave the Dragon's Hollow. Build some character, earn some scars. Moonlight City's selection is starting. Go enter it.
00:47:49One more thing. That gold mark of yours, don't call on it. Not unless you're dying, hear me?
00:47:54Understood, Master.
00:48:06Wait for me.
00:48:08Wait for me.
00:48:18Let him go.
00:48:19Those two joined at the heap.
00:48:21Silas, your pupil went from powerless nobody to nearly your equal in just ten years.
00:48:26Six rings of the Dragon God's mark. Only a Sanctuary Master's ever awoken that mark.
00:48:31He'll be the next Sanctuary Master, no question. Lucky he's stuck at six rings. One more, my title's his. Terrifying
00:48:38that talent.
00:48:39You're not getting any younger. He's catching up.
00:48:42This is embarrassing.
00:48:58Sanctuary Master.
00:49:00The boys from Moonlight City. Their selection's starting. Send someone to run it.
00:49:05My disciple will pass the selection. Genius or not, he'll walk the path like everyone else.
00:49:10Yes, Sanctuary Master.
00:49:23Yes, Sanctuary Master.

00:53:50look it's ellis hail heard a dragon knight paid the hails a personal visit yesterday
00:53:55selection hasn't even started and ellis is already halfway in the door
00:53:59god just comparing myself to him hurts
00:54:01everyone today's selection will be splitted in press
00:54:04round one the dragon's pressure dragon marshal lord ferris's mount unleashes its power
00:54:11if you are swept away by its presence you fail stay on your feet you advance
00:54:29can't take a little pressure you'll never bond a dragon never become a dragon knight
00:55:01this armor cost father of fortune i mage enchantments defeated
00:55:04fence off the roots. This pressure means nothing. Not bad. Standing firm under Blaze's full
00:55:10pressure. Exceptional. That's the future Sanctuary Master for you.
00:55:19This dragon's huge, but way weaker than Master's. I feel nothing, honestly.
00:55:28Pressure's probably faded by the time it reached that corner. My worthless half-brother
00:55:32sneaking through on a cheap trick. An embarrassment to the Hale name.
00:55:41Wait, isn't that Owen Howe? Why is he still on his feet? Standing. Look where. Cramped in the
00:55:46corner. Pressure probably never touched him. He snuck into round two. Shameless. How'd the Hales end up
00:55:51with that? This isn't fair. He stood so far back. Never held a thing. That's cheating.
00:56:04Dragging a trash pet dragon with him into the selection? Whoever's kid that is should be
00:56:08embarrassed of themselves. The Hales, I think. How'd the Hales end up with a son like that?
00:56:12Sneaking through like that humiliates the Hale name, that's for sure. Come now, Ellis. This
00:56:18is the brother. Spent a decade training in the mountains all just to cheat his way to victory.
00:56:23He's a master at it, then. Sneaking past a great dragon's pressure like a rat.
00:56:27The Hale family sent sons. The Sanctuary Master's disciple must be remarkable. Outstanding.
00:56:35It must be Ellis, then. He looks fit to lead the Sanctuary.
00:56:40Round two. Combat trials. Simple rules. Draw lots, pair off, fight. Win advance. Lose,
00:56:50you're out. Show us what you've got.
00:57:04Number three. Whoever draws you is knocked out for sure.
00:57:08Doesn't matter who. Ellis Hale wins. Easy.
00:57:12Match three. Ellis Hale versus Owen Hale.
00:57:16The Hale brothers drawn against each other? Rough luck.
00:57:19Rough for who? It's bad for Owen. For Ellis, though?
00:57:21Free pass to round three. You're right. Ellis is through for sure.
00:57:25Interesting. Sorry, brother. You walked right into my hands. Don't expect me to show mercy.
00:57:31Sothacer spoke true. Owen's return will bless Ellis. He was never any match for his brother.
00:57:38Go. Make that disgrace forfeit the second he's up there. Don't let Ellis waste his strength on him.
00:57:48Owen. The family head says forfeit now. Don't waste your brother's strength.
00:57:55Forfeit? Not a chance.
00:58:06How dare you! That's an order from your father!
00:58:10Father wants a forfeit. Let Ellis bow out. I won't.
00:58:14You! Defying your own father!
00:58:18You will regret this!
00:58:28Sanctuary master's disciple, no doubt. Majestic.
00:58:31Facing off with the family rejecting his pet lizard.
00:58:35Maybe Blaze's power has a blind spot. Lucky brave, that's right.
00:58:42Forfeit now, brother. There's still time.
00:58:45Blades don't stop the familial bonds.
00:58:49Ellis, he was always such a gentleman.
00:58:51He is. Shame his half-brother doesn't know a gift when he sees one.
00:59:05That pet of yours.
00:59:08Cute.
00:59:10None of your business.
00:59:12Round two. Match three.
00:59:14Begin!
00:59:19You animal!
00:59:20Kneel!
00:59:21Owen!
00:59:22What do you think you're doing?
00:59:24The food in your belly?
00:59:25The clothes off your back?
00:59:26All from me?
00:59:28Ignoring my orders?
00:59:29Raising a fist against your own brother?
00:59:32Your brother's the Hale Air.
00:59:33Moonlight City's genius.
00:59:35Level 8, just five years old.
00:59:36Earned a silver badge at 16.
00:59:38And you?
00:59:39Your mother died because of you.
00:59:40Now you want me dead too?
00:59:45A curse on this family.
00:59:47I said all those years ago, a baby that killed its mother would spell certain death for its father.
00:59:52Wasn't I right?
00:59:53Such a fine woman, his mother.
00:59:55How'd she give birth to this disgrace?
00:59:58His mother died of shame, I'm telling you!
01:00:00Hayes, calm down.
01:00:02That brat's not worth it.
01:00:04He's just riding Ellis' name for attention.
01:00:06Indulge his tantrum and he'll only get worse.
01:00:09Actions speak louder than words.
01:00:11Call the city guard.
01:00:12Give him a few dozen lashes, he'll fall in line.
01:00:20I just wanted to prove I'm not less than anyone.
01:00:32That's the future Sanctuary Master's father.
01:00:34What am I supposed to say?
01:00:36Watch that, Toad.
01:00:38I'm your old man, and this is how you talk to me?
01:00:41You are worse than an animal.
01:00:43You're an arrogant, conceited guy!
01:00:50Have you ever treated me as your son?
01:00:52You've been very clear.
01:00:54I'm worth less than a hair on Ellis' head to you.
01:00:56At least you throw your hunting dogs a bone.
01:00:58What did I ever get?
01:01:00What kind of father acts the way you do?
01:01:02You?
01:01:03Fine!
01:01:04Fine!
01:01:05Touch one hair on your brother's head, you're done with the hails forever!
01:01:08No son of mine, no name, no family, no roots!
01:01:12You'll be nothing but a stray raised by some nobody in the woods!
01:01:15A stray!
01:01:16A stray dog!
01:01:18The hails raised a stray dog!
01:01:22So that's why he wouldn't leave the platform.
01:01:24One last grab at glory?
01:01:25Shame.
01:01:25He's about to lose it all instead.
01:01:27Hayes, you want to kick him out?
01:01:28Send him my way!
01:01:29I need a guard dog, and he's built for it!
01:01:35Everyone, hear me out.
01:01:37Owen's been troubled since he was a boy, but he's still hail blood.
01:01:41He only wants to prove himself.
01:01:43I understand that, as his brother.
01:01:47Listen to that!
01:01:48That's the bearing of a great house!
01:01:50Ellis!
01:01:51Generous to a fault!
01:01:52Destined for greatness!
01:01:55Here's the deal, brother.
01:01:56Walk off this stage, grovel to father, I'll speak for you.
01:02:00Play smart, and this ends easy.
01:02:02Embarrass me, and you're gone for good.
01:02:05There are worse things than death.
01:02:07No one will mourn a stray dog.
01:02:09Then from this moment on, I'll renounce the hail name!
01:02:15Won't listen, will you?
01:02:17Don't blame me then.
01:02:18Let me show you real despair.
01:02:19Let me show you the dragon Lord Ferris gave me.
01:02:23I chose this dragon myself for the future Sanctuary Master.
01:02:27Maximizes his power, right where he's at.
01:02:30Lord Ferris, preparing a dragon for Ellis!
01:02:34The hails have a dragon knight!
01:02:36A real one!
01:02:40Heaven's a dragon before he's even a knight!
01:02:42Ellis, born lucky!
01:02:43I'm jealous.
01:02:44Wish a dragon knight thought that much of me!
01:02:50Come forth!
01:02:52G-Dragon!
01:03:07Heavens, a real dragon!
01:03:09Ellis, hail already has his own dragon?
01:03:11Just crown him dragon knight and be done with it!
01:03:13The hail ancestors must be burning from their graves!
01:03:22The jade dragon.
01:03:24Full growth.
01:03:25Chose it myself for the future Sanctuary Master, Ellis Hale.
01:03:28Docile.
01:03:28Easy to tame.
01:03:29Perfect first bond.
01:03:31Not top tier, sure.
01:03:32But for a knight who can set foot in the Sanctuary, a gift beyond his imagination, I'm sure.
01:03:36Now that's the spectacle that future Sanctuary Master deserves.
01:03:41As for that one over there, once Ellis is in the Sanctuary, I'll be his most trusted man.
01:03:49That's it, Ellis!
01:03:50Beat that ungradle trap senseless!
01:03:52Go, Ellis!
01:03:53Show that failure what real talent looks like!
01:03:57Come, worthless brother.
01:03:59Let this whole city see the gap between us.
01:04:06Failure.
01:04:07Cussed out by your own family.
01:04:10Kneel!
01:04:13FLY!
01:04:15I'm not a failure!
01:04:18I'm Owen!
01:04:20My mother was Liz Manta!

01:04:24I'm her son!
01:04:24Kneel!
