00:23Iranian state television has aired a roughly three-minute segment focusing directly on
00:29Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump, and mentioning a reported $10 million reward.
00:35The broadcast described efforts to identify ways of reaching Barron, and used stylized
00:41graphics showing surveillance, online activity, social connections, and people around him.
00:48But there is an important distinction here.
00:51The report did not provide evidence that any attempt to reach Barron Trump had actually
00:56taken place.
00:57Iran International, which reported on the broadcast, said it could not independently
01:03verify the operational claims made on Iranian television.
01:07Still, the decision to air such material on state television is significant.
01:13The segment reportedly displayed locations and online platforms allegedly connected to
01:19the effort.
01:20It also depicted attempts to map social connections around Barron, and ways of getting through
01:25layers of Secret Service protection.
01:28Towards the end of the report, the narrator claimed that many people would be willing to take
01:33the $10 million reward linked to efforts targeting Barron.
01:37And this comes against an already tense backdrop.
01:41Since the war began on February 28th, rhetoric through Iranian hardliners against the United
01:47States and Israel has intensified sharply.
01:51Trump himself has previously been the subject of alleged Iranian assassination plots.
01:57U.S. prosecutors said in 2024 that Tehran had tasked an operative with developing
02:03a plan to kill Trump.
02:04American authorities have also previously accused members or associates of Iran's Revolutionary
02:11Guards of plotting against former senior U.S. officials.
02:15Those alleged plots included former National Security Advisor John Bolton and were linked
02:22by U.S. authorities to retaliation for the 2020 killing of Qasem Soleimani.
02:28But the latest broadcast takes the rhetoric in a different direction.
02:32It shifts attention from Trump and American officials directly involved in Iran policy to
02:38the president's family.
02:39And this is not the first time.
02:42In late July, an AI-generated propaganda video released through Tosnim News Agency reportedly
02:49targeted First Lady Melania Trump and Barron Trump.
02:53That video was titled, Where to Kill Melania?
02:57The U.S. Secret Service is investigating those earlier threats.
03:01So what does this latest broadcast mean?
03:04At this stage, there is no verified evidence presented in the report that an attack
03:09against Barron Trump was underway or had succeeded.
03:13But broadcasting detailed surveillance-style imagery involving the president's son while
03:19discussing a multimillion-dollar reward represents a serious escalation in rhetoric.
03:25And with tensions between Washington and Iran already running high, the question now is
03:32whether this remains propaganda or whether U.S. authorities will treat it as a credible security threat.
