00:00Amelia John from Channel 4 News. We haven't heard from Nigel Farage since his by-election win.
00:04Is he in hiding? And has the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner interviewed him yet
00:09over the undeclared £5 million gift from a Thai-based crypto-billionaire?
00:15Nigel, I think, is 62. I'm not sure he's ever been in hiding.
00:21He's always on good form and you'll see plenty of him if you come to party conference.
00:29But I do think that, I'll just repeat the point, we are a broad team with a range of expertise,
00:36as you're hearing about today, and Nigel specifically gave us these tasks,
00:42myself, spokesman for business, trade, energy, including housing, so that we can get stuck into some detail.
00:49And that's the thing. But with regard to the standards commissioner,
00:56we're getting to know him for a variety of reasons. That's the nature of it.
01:01With regard to timing on that, that's between Nigel and the commissioner.
01:07There are, of course, quite strict rules around who can say what about when with the commissioner,
01:11so we have to leave it at that.
01:13OK, can we have a serious question this time?
01:16Bethan Dawson, LBC.
01:17That's a good thing.
01:17That's a good thing.
01:17That's a good thing.
01:17That's a good thing.
