00:00So let's start it here. The impact you think he has on New England and the impact you think he
00:06has on the Eagles not being there. So I guess I'll start on the Eagles side real quick. I do
00:14expect
00:15Philadelphia to take a step back. That doesn't necessarily mean Philadelphia is going to be a
00:20bad team, not a playoff team. That's not what I'm saying. But I think teams like the Cowboys,
00:26certainly. And even if healthy and things break right, which feels like a series of ifs for the
00:32commanders these days. I think these are a couple of teams, Dallas in particular, that is very live
00:37to win that NFC East. I don't think it's just this foregone conclusion that we're going to get a
00:42three-peat out of Philadelphia because you are losing a vital part of that offense. And Jalen
00:47Hurts, I know Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown, certainly on a personal level, but even a professional level
00:52over the last couple of years have not necessarily been on the same page. But Brown, despite all some
00:57of the drama surrounding him and, you know, even when he has looked disinterested out there, you
01:02know, sitting on the sidelines reading a book, he is still in his sleep, a thousand-yard guy when he's
01:06healthy. And he has been that despite missing time each of the last two seasons for Philadelphia.
01:11So you're losing him, which puts that much more pressure on Devonta Smith, obviously, on Dallas
01:16Goddard to stay healthy on some of these secondary pieces that they've added, a Dontavian Wicks, a
01:23Hollywood Brown, guys like that. And clearly, Lemon, who they drafted early in, you know, early on, I
01:28think is going to be a good, strong piece. But I don't think he's ready to just waltz in and
01:35replace
01:35A.J. Brown's production. I think you'd be ecstatic if you're Philadelphia, if you get six, 700 yards out of
01:41them somewhere in that range. But it does make you wonder, one of the guys I didn't mention, Saquon
01:46Barkley, as he gets older, how much can you continue to put on his shoulders or his legs, as
01:52it were, and in terms of the workload? Because, again, wrong side of, you know, prime and, you
01:58know, in the 30 vicinity, guys obviously start to break down a little bit unless you're Derrick
02:06Henry, basically. I mean, other than that, it pretty much tends to go south for these guys. You
02:11just turned 30, coming off the biggest workload of his career for the Niners. I think a lot of
02:16people are wondering what that's going to look like. So I think there are a lot of different
02:19reasons to just look at Philadelphia and say, yeah, there are some real question marks on that
02:25team. And it's just, again, it's not a foregone conclusion that it's going to win the NFC East.
02:31Now, as far as A.J. Brown's impact on the Patriots in New England, I think it's immense. You know,
02:37some of the moves that were made in the offseason by New England coming off of the improbable Super
02:42Bowl run last year, you know, I felt this team had taken a little bit of a step backward
02:48as well. You know, and obviously there's going to be regression no matter what. You know,
02:52you're talking about a team that won 14 games last year. Like, that's not going to happen
02:58again. And you can still be a very solid team and win 10, 11 games. And there's a reason
03:04that New England is, you know, priced in that nine and a half, 10 and a half range,
03:07depending on where you look, typically nine and a half juice to the over, obviously. But I think
03:11that, you know, for New England, the impact of adding a guy like, pardon me, A.J. Brown coming in,
03:19you lose Stefan Diggs, as we know he's a commander now, and he was your number one. He's the first
03:24thousand yard guy that team had in many, many years. He's out the door, but New England didn't
03:31want to invest in him. You bring in what, undisputably, is a more talented player in A.J.
03:37Brown. Again, this guy can sleepwalk to a thousand yards. And you put him with the MVP runner-up,
03:42Drake May, who, in my estimation, has one of, if not the best deep ball in the NFL right now.
03:48And obviously, he's a young guy in that potentially electric Josh McDaniels offense. He is certainly
03:55viewed as one of, again, if not the best offensive coordinators in the entire NFL. A Mike Vrabel
04:01relationship with A.J. Brown that goes back to their time in Tennessee. Brown, who grew up a
04:06Patriots fan, you know, had a, Saquon Barkley joked about how Brown had a Patriots rug in his house,
04:12even while he was playing to the Eagles. Like, this, this was the team that he wanted to play for.
04:17Now, maybe not this team. It was with Tom Brady and under Bill Belichick and all that.
04:21But he loves Mike Vrabel. I think has a solid building rapport with Drake May. Certainly
04:26respects him. And you've added Romeo Dobbs to that offense. I think, you know, I'd smash the
04:32overs, at least on yardage for A.J. Brown. I think you've got a 14, 1500 yard season incoming here.
04:38I think he's going to be the best wide receivers in the NFL because I think he's going to be
04:42looking
04:42to silence a lot of the doubters and prove a lot of people wrong.
