00:00Gracias por honor, Lindsay Clancy rests her case.
00:02All right, so the defense has now rested its case.
00:09So I'm going to talk to counsel for a minute or so over here,
00:13and we're about to go into the next phase of this case,
00:18which would be the Commonwealth has offered and given the opportunity
00:21to offer rebuttal witnesses on certain issues.
00:24And so I'm going to talk to counsel first,
00:27and I'll inquire of the Commonwealth if they wish to offer these rebuttal witnesses.
00:32Okay, so counsel, can I see it sidebar?
00:39All right, Attorney Sprague, does the Commonwealth wish to offer any rebuttal?
00:43Yes, Your Honor.
00:44All right, if you call your next witness, please.
00:49The Commonwealth will call Dr. Abram Mack.
01:17She loved her children, all of them.
01:19Very, very much.
01:21And during that period of time, let's say October, November of 2022,
01:27what did you observe about Lindsay?
01:33She reached out to me in November and told me that she felt unwell.
01:38Did she describe any symptoms for her?
01:40She did.
01:41Tell the jurors what she said.
01:42She felt mostly she had insomnia.
01:48She was losing her appetite.
01:50She was very anxious and sad.
01:55At some point after being prescribed some medication,
02:01you recall that Lindsay told you that she thought she developed a benzo dependency, correct?
02:11I vaguely remember that.
02:13That would be on November 29th, where she says,
02:17I just deep down inside of me feel that I've developed a benzo dependence
02:21after just two weeks of using it,
02:23and I feel like no one is hearing that and addressing it,
02:25and we keep throwing different meds in the mix
02:27that aren't really addressing the real issue.
02:29Do you recall that message?
02:31It sounds familiar.
02:33She says, I'm not okay, and I'm terrified of taking meds tonight.
02:37Do you see that in the green?
02:40Yes.
02:41And then your response is, why are you scared?
02:44Why happens if you don't take them?
02:46What are you afraid of?
02:47What about Ambien, right?
02:50You're actively trying to help her kind of figure out the medication.
02:54Yes, there were a lot of medications.
02:56Okay.
02:57You're aware she wasn't prescribed all the medications at one time,
03:01but just a lot of different combinations were kind of thrown around as options, right?
03:06It seemed confusing.
03:21Yeah, we had hundreds of people here at the courthouse today,
03:25women and men dressed in pink in support of Lindsay,
03:29and to raise awareness for postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis,
03:34and, you know, mental health crisis all over the world.
03:45It was wonderful to see so many women come together to support such a wonderful cause.
03:49And for me, being here is important because the Massachusetts system,
03:54health care system, failed Lindsay.
03:57She reached out for help multiple times.
04:00She told them that she was having thoughts of harming her children and harming herself,
04:03and she was turned away countless times at countless locations.
04:46We're here to send one message, and that message is that it should not take tragedy
04:52for people to start paying attention to mental health.
04:55It is true.
05:05My name is Renee Kimble.
05:07I'm actually from Maine, and I organized the Stand in Peace for Lindsay event today
05:13at the Plymouth Superior Courthouse.
05:17I originally organized it because there was just one day in court that Lindsay was in shambles,
05:23and I couldn't stop thinking about her.
06:18Thank you.

08:20And how was your relationship with the babies?
08:24Beautiful.
08:33You told the jurors about how you saw her acting with her children as a mother.
08:39She was very nurturing, very loving.
08:42She was a wonderful mother.
08:43Wonderful.
08:44Did you ever see her treat for her middle son, Dawson, bad because he didn't like him?
08:50No.
08:50Did she love Dawson in Europe?
09:20No.
09:22No.
09:37No.
