00:00This is my foster puppy going to the beach with my two dogs for the first time.
00:04Over the past few weeks we've helped Roosa come out her shell with the help of Kobe and Moki.
00:08We've now rented an Airbnb by the beach and hopefully she doesn't shut down
00:12because she's really nervous in new environments.
00:14We're going to bring our dogs in first and then bring Roosa in.
00:42And then it was time for Roosa to come in.
00:44I really hope she doesn't shut down because it's a new place.
00:48Good girl, look.
00:52Wait, you need toilet, come on, you need toilet.
00:54Come on Roosa, come on Roosa, get out of here.
00:56Good girl, look, she's fine.
01:01Go me Moki.
01:04Look, she just wants to go explore.
01:06I can't believe how fine she is, isn't it?
01:08She wasn't scared, I think because she saw all of us.
01:11She just wasn't really worried.
01:13Come on Roosa, all right.
01:15Come on, get out of here, come.
01:20She's trying to eat the seashells.
01:26This is the cutest Airbnb I've ever seen.
01:30We've got to do a house tour with the dogs.
01:31First half of the lounge, second half of the lounge.
01:34Moki's making herself feel at home already.
01:36Hallway, second part of the hallway.
01:38No idea what this thing is, but it's cool.
01:42Bathroom.
01:44Mirror.
01:46Kitchen.
01:52And then we've got the garden.
01:53Moki come, come on Moki come.
02:00Dog blankets.
02:03Stairs.
02:06Beds.
02:07It looks like it's not just going to be me in this bed tonight.
02:11En suite bathroom.
02:12Very nice.
02:13Oh, hello Roosa.
02:16Were you missing out on all the fun?
02:19Fish.
02:20Obviously, in all seriousness, the designs in this house are amazing.
02:25Such a nice place.
02:27Second bathroom.
02:29Kids room, probably for this one.
02:31Is this going to be your bedroom?
02:36I think she's happy to be here.
02:39This place is honestly amazing.
02:41So many little touches that really compliment the house.
02:44Whoever designed it, blue star for you.
02:46So whilst the dogs are exploring the house, let me tell you about our plan for the day.
02:50This place has an amazing old town with a castle dated all the way back to the early 14th century.
02:56We're going to take all the dogs there and hopefully they're allowed in.
02:59This will be a lot of stimulation for Roosa.
03:01So if she does get too uncomfortable in these new places, we'll take her back.
03:05After we're done in the castle, assuming we'll get in,
03:08we'll let the dogs chill and rest up at home for a bit.
03:10And then the big one, taking them all to the beach.
03:13I really hope Roosa doesn't freak out.
03:15Okay, let's go see the old town.
03:45As we were exploring the old town trying to find the castle, we noticed an ice cream shop.
03:50We stopped off and thought this is the perfect time to let Roosa out her carrier.
03:54She's not used to being around lots of people just yet.
03:57So the carrier is her safe space to take it all in.
03:59We put the carrier down and let her climb out of it in her own time.
04:02But I forgot to film it, her oops, sorry.
04:05But she is out of it now.
04:06So let's see how she does in a busy area.
04:12Good girl.
04:18That was good.
04:20That is adorable.
04:21Moki literally looks like a protector.
04:23Her tail's tucked between her legs, so she wasn't too sure,
04:26but she's brave enough to see what's going on, which is good.
04:32It was important having Kobe and Moki there.
04:34It may not look like they're doing much, but because they're so calm,
04:38it will help Roosa feel more calm and safe.
04:40You know, if they were freaking out and barking at people that walked by,
04:42it's not going to be the best example for Roosa.
04:45We were just about to leave and find the castle,
04:48then realized that they serve dog ice cream here.
04:50Kobe and Moki are no strangers to dog ice cream,
04:52but obviously this will be Roosa's first time ever trying it.
04:57That's it.
04:58For Moki.
05:01And then Root.
05:03Root.
05:04And then for Root.
05:06Your first, oh, Root.
05:08No?
05:09Alright then.
05:09We thought there was just too much going on, so she wasn't hungry,
05:12but it turns out she didn't actually realize that she could eat it.
05:16Oh.
05:17She's like, oh.
05:20Yeah, she's like, oh.
05:23It's dog ice cream.
05:27Look at her, she's luffing it now.
05:29She's like, oh, that's smelly nice.
05:31No, she's got her top lick secured on the top, so that she can then lick it tight.
05:36Kobe's just good at getting over it.
05:40We were just about to leave and go to the castle,
05:43until the lovely owner of the ice cream shop stopped off to give all the dogs some treats.
05:47Oh, she's our foster.
05:50Oh, thank you.
05:55Thank you so much.
05:58And then we found the castle, hopefully the dogs are allowed in it.
06:01They were just about to close, but luckily, they let us in with the dogs.
06:05Come on.
06:07Ooh, Root.
06:09Oh, bit of a tight squeeze.
06:12How old is this castle?
06:14It was built between 1250 and 1350.
06:19Wow.
06:20Wow, this is up there, 1250.
06:22What's this, Root?
06:25This was an amazing opportunity to expose Rooster to a brand new environment.
06:29There were lots of weird noises and smells in here.
06:32Rooster did amazing, because even though she did look a bit scared,
06:35she never cried or freaked out once.
06:38Darling, by the gentleman, goodbye.
06:40Oh, Root.
06:41Five and twenty pounds.
06:42Scared me a bit.
06:43Get out of here.
06:44Friendly for the parson.
06:45Batting for the clark.
06:47Laces for a lady.
06:48Oh, God.
06:49Risks for a star.
06:50Come on.
06:50Good, come on.
06:51It's quite loud, isn't it, Root?
06:54Good girl.
06:56Let's go into here.
07:00Hello.
07:02Wow.
07:10Kobe and Moki really helped Rooster stay calm.
07:19This is a prison cell back in the 14th century.
07:22I couldn't believe how small they were.
07:26Right, okay.
07:30Okay, let's go.
07:45All the dogs had an amazing time.
07:48There was only one thing left to see before going to the beach, the women's tower.
07:51Well, go in there then.
07:55That's your bedroom.
07:57Sit down in the corner and listen to me.
07:59Good luck.
08:00That's real.
08:01I'm so lit, Mary.
08:03And we went home, Rooster rolled in something she shouldn't have, and they all had a nap
08:07before heading to the beach.
08:09Just before we go to the beach, I want to tell you about Rooster's story and how far she's come.
08:13Rooster's a rescue from Ukraine.
08:15She was left out by a motorway during the cold winters of December in a cardboard box with all
08:19her littermates.
08:20She's then been in rescue and foster homes since.
08:23When we first got her, she had almost no confidence in new environments.
08:26She was very unsure and didn't even want to walk.
08:28But we've had her for a few weeks now and the difference is crazy.
08:31Now she's a lot more comfortable outdoors, it's time to see if the beach is one step too far.
08:43It was really important having Kobe and Moki there to show Rooster everything's okay.
08:48She's in her carrier, but we are going to put it down and see if she wants to step out
08:51of it.
08:56Good girl!
08:59Wow!
09:03Good girl!
09:03Good girl!
09:04Oh my God!
09:07Good girl!
