Indian authorities have removed unauthorised structures and encroachments outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi... the action comes days after Pakistani authorities removed parking poles outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. The Delhi operation is being viewed as a reciprocal administrative action amid continued tensions between India and Pakistan. Reports say a JCB was used to remove unauthorised structures and external barriers outside the Pakistani diplomatic mission. The developments highlight how even administrative measures around diplomatic premises can become part of the broader India-Pakistan tensions. Both countries have previously taken reciprocal steps affecting diplomatic missions, facilities and movement during periods of strained bilateral relations.
