Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson on Wednesday, Aug. 19, called for the continuity of flood control master plans, noting that plans from previous administrations are often discarded by their successors.
Lacson said such practice leaves ordinary Filipinos to continue suffering from flooding. He stressed that the country’s flood control master plan should be technically comprehensive and designed to span multiple administrations, ensuring continuity despite changes in government.
