00:06Philadelphia, right, who's pretty much tied with San Diego there for that final wild two and three
00:12in the wild card. Arizona is just a half a game back, but Miami, St. Louis and Washington,
00:19you know, Washington's five games back. Okay. St. Louis is three and a half games. Miami's only
00:26two and a half games back. So that means these next couple of series coming up here through the
00:32end of the month, my goodness, you want to talk about meaningful baseball across the board,
00:38given an extra wild card spot, more teams means, yeah, more mediocre baseball. But I, you know,
00:45I guess all we want is urgency, right? As fans, isn't that what, isn't that what it's about?
00:50Give me the urgency. Give me guys that are playing for something by the time this calendar turns,
00:56to September. And I think this is a huge series coming up here with Miami and Cincinnati because
01:02Cincinnati, are they going to lock themselves into a playoff this week? No, but they could both play
01:08themselves out of this situation here over the next week to know. Yeah, I think the Reds really face an
01:16uphill battle, I think, to make the playoffs because simply put, they're just so far. That's a one team
01:21that's just so far behind Milwaukee and so far behind the Cubs. And they're going to have to play
01:26those teams a lot. I'm just not, I was optimistic at the beginning of the season on the Reds, but
01:30I'm
01:31really not now. As far, you know, with the interesting part about Miami is I think it's fair to say
01:37you'd
01:37rather be in San Diego's position, Arizona's position, and even Philly's position. But Miami plays
01:43Philadelphia next week in Philly. Now, it's going to be tough, obviously. And then they play Arizona,
01:48and then they play San Diego. So Miami has the games in front of them. And you can't say that
01:55about every team. Like, Washington doesn't have that same ability to play the same teams Miami does.
01:59It's tough. I mean, Miami has to go to San Diego and they have to go to Arizona. That's not
02:03what you,
02:04you'd rather have that on the schedule than not. Let's put it that way, Joe. If they didn't have it,
02:08they couldn't get there. Washington doesn't even have the opportunity to do that. And plus,
02:12Washington just made an interesting announcement today that C.J. Abrams is moving to second base.
02:18He's been a shortstop his entire career. And so what does that kind of tell you, Joe,
02:22in August for them to do this? It means we're still playing toward next year. Like,
02:27you don't make a change like this right now unless you kind of feel like your season is,
02:31you know, sort of over. So hate to say it, but Nunez, I see Nunez will play short.
02:36Abrams will play second. You know, Washington, I thought they were completely cooked and out of
02:41it. And then here they are, played some better baseball, back three games under 500 after
02:45getting smoked for about a week. So I kind of feel like Washington, Joe, is a little bit of a
02:52hot
