Transcript
00:00We heard from Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Desolet for the first time in a while at Summer Games Fest.
00:06He showed off a trailer for the upcoming 1666 Amsterdam, which was nice.
00:11What was less nice was when players got their hands on the demo and immediately thought,
00:16hey, something seems iffy with these visuals.
00:19You guessed it, folks. It was AI, and 1666 studio Panache Digital has already come out and said sorry.
00:28They were some early versions of assets that made their way into the prologue.
00:32This includes some in-game portraits and external marketing assets.
00:37We own up to this oversight and apologize for any upset caused.
00:41Please be assured that the early access and full game will not include any assets generated by AI.
00:47Which, sure, that's all well and good, but gee whiz, guys.
00:50Maybe AI is just not worth it when it causes this much heartache.
