00:00The guy who still works for Disney.
00:02I think it's going to be a really good season.
00:06I do think that, if you look at what Paradise was this last season,
00:10it was a season of change and things needed to change up.
00:15I think we rested on our laurels for too long.
00:19And so I like the direction of where Paradise is going,
00:24and I like the idea of bringing in a really big star to inject that show with a lot of
00:31star power.
00:33I'm interested to see the guys that come on the show.
00:37I think that's going to be fun to watch.
00:41And then, in turn, I'm very excited to see the guys that she doesn't like come to Paradise,
00:47because I think that would be very fun.
00:51Yeah, I don't work for Disney, so I have nothing to lose.
00:56You know, I think the most interesting thing with this announcement of her being the Bachelorette
01:01is the fans' response, and it is split, right?
01:04I mean, there are some things that we know about her past that we're like,
01:08hey, you're still deserving of love.
01:10I still want you to find love, but is this the best place to do it?
01:15Like, is the Bachelorette really going to fit this narrative?
01:18And how do we make it make sense that, like, you are authentically looking for your partner?
01:23We don't know that yet.
01:25So I don't have a judgment on that, but I think it's my question, it's a lot of people's questions,
01:29is where do you go from here?
01:31And I think it's the biggest question for the show, and it has been for the last five years,
01:36is how do you move forward with a fan base with this announcement?
01:42So I'm intrigued at how they make this something successful and sustainable,
01:47because at this point, I don't know how you make it sustainable when you announce her as your Bachelorette,
01:52when for years you've had your relatable, common human coming in with the pursuit of love and love only.
02:00Now you have a celebrity with a platform and a following coming in.
02:07And I honestly think it could be a home run, but it could also be a very, very bad season
02:14for the show following her.
02:16No.
02:17We will see.
02:18I think it's a question, though.
02:20Do you think it was a good move?
02:22Like, I mean, it's an exciting move.
02:24My wife is going to watch it, and she's never watched the show, because she's like, I'm intrigued to see
02:28the mess.
02:31But is it going to be something long-term, as Bachelor Nation fans, that you support?
02:39I mean, I think that's a big question for the fan base.
02:41You know, something that I think is interesting about it is, you guys say it, and we say it on
02:46the show a lot,
02:47and it's like being there for the right reasons.
02:49And obviously...
02:52It's okay.
02:57And like, obviously, she has a huge platform, because she has another television show.
03:02So then I wonder if it's going to be a thing amongst the guys.
03:05I don't know if this is going to happen, but I can see it happening, where guys are going to
03:08be like,
03:08you're just here, because you want to be on another reality TV show with her.
03:13You're not here for the right reasons.
03:15I can see that being an issue already, and I think that will be fun TV to watch.
03:20Thanks, Sam.
03:22Woo!
