02:06there was an issue with the kluk listing it stated that a buffet lunch was included but after i booked
02:12the tickets the details showed that the buffet lunch was not included in the price in the end
02:19we had to pay extra for the buffet lunch on the day of the tour but the food provided was
02:24absolutely
02:25not worth the price the restaurant charged it was very disappointing the tour guide had a very strong
02:32english accent my husband who has lived in the united states for nearly 30 years could only understand
02:40about half of what he said we often couldn't tell if he was speaking english or spanish though we could
02:46definitely feel the guides dedication we departed from downtown cancun and it was a truly packed itinerary
02:54we had to be at the meeting point at 4 45 a.m and didn't return until around 8 30
03:01p.m
03:01it was an exhausting day because chichen itza was unexpectedly closed that day the guide took us to
03:09ek balam instead we didn't realize we were running out of water and ended up suffering from heat stroke
03:15after about half an hour without rehydrating the weather that day was incredibly hot which meant we
03:22didn't have the energy to properly explore ak balam all we wanted was to get back to the entrance as
03:29quickly as possible to buy water the planning by the staff at ak balam wasn't great many ruins didn't
03:36have english explanations and there was no place to buy water inside the site only at the entrance and
03:42the parking lot we hadn't planned on actually swimming in the chichican cenote but we were surprised that
03:49the staff even required us to pay for a life vest and locker just to dip our feet in the
03:54water
03:55otherwise we weren't allowed to enter at all and could only view the cenote from the observation deck
04:01since the water quality inside wasn't very clean we decided not to go in after all
