00:14Late this afternoon, police identified the victim as 63-year-old Michael Dyer of Lahaina.
00:20They believe he was attacked by 20-year-old legend Storer of Lahaina,
00:24who's now charged with murder, burglary and indecent exposure.
00:27Police say they captured Storer at about 5.30 in the morning yesterday,
00:32wandering naked near the Sands of Kahana Complex in Lahaina.
00:36That's after they found Michael Dyer unconscious in his office.
00:40MPD said security video showed Storer attacking Dyer just before 2 a.m.
00:45People who knew the security guard say he was married with children,
00:48and they have no idea why anyone would hurt him.
00:51He was a great person, and he was just in his office having a cheeseburger on his lunch break.
00:58And he had a wife that's a waitress at Leilani's and kids, and his whole family lost him.
01:04It's horrible.
01:05I had a lot of screaming and, like, commotion.
01:08I feel very unsafe because I live here 15 years in the same neighborhood.
01:15I always, the 15 years that I live here, I by myself.
01:19Legend Storer is listed as a freshman on the Concordia University swim team in Irvine, California.
01:25The school says he graduated from Maui Preparatory Academy and was a two-time MIL champion.
01:31MPD says Storer remains in custody without bail.
01:34It's released no other information on the case.
