00:00Our little break from the humidity in the northeast is quickly coming to an end.
00:04Look at the green surging northward as the dew points and the humidity levels will be rising once again.
00:10Humidity surging back north, and that's going to spark some showers and some thunderstorms for many into Wednesday.
00:16Now, many of them are going to be into areas still around Virginia, West Virginia,
00:19but pushing northward into Pennsylvania and more of New Jersey and Delaware.
00:23We'll be watching for some daily thunderstorms in many areas across the mid-Atlantic
00:27and especially the interior northeast through Wednesday and Thursday.
00:32There will be some occasional thunderstorms and showers near the coast,
00:35but a lot of the more concentrated areas of thunderstorms will generally be in the interior,
00:40near and west of I-81, for example.
00:42So Thursday, numerous showers and storms in various parts of the northeast, especially in the interior.
00:47Friday, we're going to do it again as well.
00:50Temperatures will be rising up to near 90 on Thursday in Philadelphia, upper 80s in Boston and Syracuse,
00:56and upper 80s as well across most of the southeast.
00:58The moisture surge is going to be significant, leading to some localized flash flooding.
01:02We'll look for some additional heat and humidity through the end of the week
01:05and also an increase in thunderstorms off the southeast coast
01:09with a surge of tropical moisture coming in for the weekend.
