Watch as a fearless cat and a bright green snake square off in a tense showdown on a mountain pathway.
The remarkable wildlife encounter was captured by Wang Fei at Mount Qingcheng in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
The video shows a tabby cat crouched low to the ground, its eyes fixed intently on a coiled emerald-green snake. The snake raises its head and remains tightly coiled, poised to defend itself as the cat cautiously inches closer.
Neither animal is willing to back down, creating a dramatic standoff.
