00:00When you freely give back to God what he has freely given to you,
00:08he will help you to do what ordinarily you cannot do.
00:13He can turn seemingly impossible situations around.
00:19He can help you to overcome what your natural senses believe is impossible.
00:32Grace and peace to you, Brother Chris.
00:34Thank you very much for the message about self-control.
00:39I have heard the message very well, but I have a question on the very message.
00:45Although it's particularly a personal issue, but I would love to still ask.
00:52So my question is, there are situations whereby you have been reacting to the same situation,
01:01to the same wrong situation or sinful situation for a very long way.
01:04Let me say, maybe for about a hundred times you have been reacting to this.
01:09And you are trained psychologically to react to that same thing in the same way, always.
01:14Yes, so I know I have a message that I should not just my response to that wrong.
01:23Yes, so my question is, how do I truly seek the face of God in such a situation
01:32so that God can intervene for me to change my mind psychologically
01:38so that there are some sort of bodies, the body or maybe the thoughts are ahead of you.
01:46You want to do what is right, but your thoughts are ahead of you.
01:53And you even do it without realizing, you react in that way, without realizing,
02:00because you have done it several times.
02:02How do I not get such a situation, Brother Chris?
02:06Thank you so much.
02:07One of the other factors that people point to as a justification for continuing in a wrong attitude or behavior
02:19is the belief that they cannot change.
02:22I've tried to change.
02:25I've given my best, but I keep finding myself falling back into this.
02:31I keep returning to it.
02:33So it's very common for people to conclude that they cannot change.
02:39And that conclusion is not God's conclusion.
02:46That is not what God says about you.
02:49As I said, there is no one God created who cannot change.
02:52Now, we talked about admitting wrong, accepting responsibility, and making adjustments.
03:00When it comes to making that adjustment, I want you to understand,
03:03I'm not only referring to your own willpower.
03:08When you freely give back to God what He has freely given to you,
03:17He will help you to do what ordinarily you cannot do.
03:23Brother, God can break those mental strongholds.
03:29Don't limit His power.
03:34Don't believe the lie that certain chains cannot be broken or certain habits cannot be fixed.
03:45There is no one who cannot change.
03:49If we take that path of total surrender and ask the Holy Spirit to help us,
04:01even if we repeatedly and regularly fall into the same trap,
04:07I'm telling you, my brother, you will overcome.
04:11Don't believe the lie that change is impossible or that certain habits just can't be broken.
04:18Or, well, because I've done this for so many years, it's become part of me.
04:23That's why I use that language.
04:24Don't accept a bad behavior as part of your personality.
04:28Oh, I've done this for 20 years.
04:30How is it possible for me to change?
04:33It may not be possible with you.
04:35It's possible with God.
04:37So, increase that focus on your relationship with God.
04:43As I said, I will repeat that statement.
04:45That is a statement for you to reflect on.
04:49When you freely give back to God what He has freely given to you,
04:56He will help you, strengthen you, enable you to do what ordinarily you cannot do.
05:05He can turn seemingly impossible situations around.
05:11He can help you to overcome what your natural senses believe is impossible.
05:17So, that's the answer, my brother.
05:20That's the answer.
05:22There is no stronghold that has a stranglehold.
05:28Our Lord Jesus Christ cannot break.
05:32So, don't listen to the lies of the devil that say,
05:35Well, because I've done this for 15 years, 20 years.
05:40That's why it's not easy for me.
05:43It may not be easy, but it's possible.
05:45It's very possible.
05:47I think I need to say this as well.
05:49So, this message is for believers because I know everyone connected here has also been invited to an interactive prayer
06:00service
06:01where we pray for people, for deliverance, right?
06:06Deliverance is an important element in this process
06:11because sometimes, truly, there are people who have lost control because of demonic influence.
06:20In such a situation, you don't need more discipline.
06:24You need deliverance.
06:26The power of the Holy Spirit to break you free from those chains surrounding your will.
06:32That's deliverance, but deliverance can take a moment for the heart that is willing.
06:38You see every service in the interactive prayer in our ministry here.
06:44People from all over the world, as they connect, the power of God touches people,
06:51sets them free from unclean spirits that have pushed them to lose control.
06:58So, deliverance is available, people of God.
07:01Sometimes, what we are facing does require a higher hand to break us free.
07:06But, I'm giving this message for believers because so many times we receive freedom,
07:15but we don't accept that freedom because we are still clinging to the lie that the chain cannot just be
07:27broken in a moment.
07:28How can years of addiction be erased in seconds?
07:35How is that possible?
07:36With man, it is impossible.
07:37With God, it is very, very possible.
07:40So, let's not limit God by magnifying the magnitude of our problems.
07:47Let's magnify God above our problems.
07:50And even if we seem to regularly return to something that we know is wrong,
07:55that is not a license to justify it, to normalize it, or to accept it as part of us.
08:01Wrong is still wrong.
08:03Even if by God's mercy you don't see immediate consequences,
08:07don't see that as a condoning of such actions.
08:11It's an opportunity to truly repent.
08:14Take it.
08:20Does your relationship with family members put you in a position that causes you to compromise your faith
08:32and your relationship with God?
08:34If the answer is yes, then your relationship with God must be your focal points.
