00:11Now, he'd said that a little bit earlier in the day, before his 7.30 interview, following
00:15up, like you mentioned, from those comments that were made by Senator Hanson over the
00:18weekend.
00:18If you missed them, she spoke to Channel 7's Spotlight program, and she was presented with
00:23a plan from the far-right British group Restore Britain, and what that outlined was their
00:29intentions, their plans for a mass deportation of immigrants.
00:33Now, initially, her response to that was that she loved the idea, but when she was pressed
00:37on it a little bit further, she said that in Australia, she'd only like to see that apply
00:41to people who were here illegally.
00:42Now, of course, at the moment already, if you are found to have overstayed your visa, normally
00:47you are expected to leave the country.
00:49That's not unusual, but Barnaby Joyce, when pressed about his idea for doctor and nurses
00:53to potentially have to report those who are overstaying their visas, didn't have a whole
00:58lot of detail about how something like that would work in his view, but here's what he

01:03What I've basically said, illegal immigrants, unless you want to keep illegal immigrants
01:06here, then there's no point in calling them illegal.
01:09If they're illegal, they're not supposed to be in Australia.
01:12That's why they're termed illegal immigrants.
