00:00A flash flood emergency continues in Ozona, Texas. This is girly draw right here. Normally dry and it is full
00:07of water right now and there's more heavy rain coming in from the south. The flash flood emergency has been
00:13expanded off to the south as well. Looks like about 8 to 10 inches of rain has fallen. An additional
00:183 to 4 inches is certainly not out of the question. Maybe even more as this upper level low is
00:24just spinning over southwestern Texas. Flash flood emergencies continue in Ozona and Sonora, Texas.
00:30Numerous swift water rescues being performed out here. Definitely out in Sonora as well. The Austin Fire Department is on
00:38scene right now assisting out in Sonora. Ozona, the condition continues to worsen here as heavy rain is falling. You
00:45can see the MCS is anchored right over this area. This includes Interstate 10 as well. We just saw a
00:52firefighter truck that was coming out of the flood zone and they had numerous rescues that were being performed.
00:59We saw people getting pulled out of the south side of Ozona. Looks like the flooding is worse with structures
01:04inundated on the south side of Ozona and all fed by girly draw here which is flowing north to south
01:11and it does look like the flood situation here in the western Texas Hill Country is getting worse.
01:16Definitely very heavy rain. Numerous storms continue to develop fed by a low level jet of 30 knots. So certainly
01:24turn around. Don't drown. The only people driving out here should be those that are evacuating those flood zones and
01:31also the firefighters emergency managers that are on scene assisting and saving lives out here. But a very dangerous flooding
01:37situation continues with this upper level low over southwestern Texas.
